4th Gen Tacoma (2024+)

When I had a job that required highway driving I got my best milage, even in the Land Cruiser, using the cruise control.

 

We've been here before. Don't expect to get EPA Hwy MPG if you're going faster than about 65mph.

 

TRD Jon’s trip was doing 70-80 mph.
You only get 15 mpg? I get 17 in my 9 year old truck with larger than stock tires and a ladder rack that kills aerodynamics. Stock I got around 20 mpg. I always drive 70-80 mph.

 

Final drive is what is affecting me IMO.

 

Check out the comments where he answers queries about specific VIN numbers. At least one still in hold. Also, he alludes to supply chain issues with parts relating to the Premium package which is probably why we have seen so few of them. I guessed right about my December delivery.

Now that it's a known thing that the gas version falls apart, I reckon it's time to release the MAX version.

 

I get about 17mpg at 60mph, at anything higher it drops to about 16mpg regardless of the speed.

 

I priced a 2024 Mojave X which is the higher trim gladiator on a TRD pro level....98000 dollars in Canada
Good luck selling those Jeep , you lost a potential buyer. Stalantis is out to lunch on their pricing. Yes I get there are lower trims ,Mojave has the best ride out of all of them . I could get a Tundra pro cheaper if I wanted to spend that much

 

If you check on some "other" 4th Gen Tacoma forums, you can find actual information about 4th gen Tacomas. If you only look here you will find discussions on a broken truck, the greatness of 3g Tacomas, sandals, tires, national speed limits, and lots of other non 4g related content!

 

Are they breaking ADD's and calling for an entire stop sale of the 4g or are they happy? Just asking since I won't go there. I'm on 2 Toyota forums as it is! lol

Really? I can get a Mohave for cheaper than a 4th gen TRD Off-road Tacoma around here. Dealers are offering $10-15K off MSRP. It’s a hell of a lot more truck for the money.

 

I'm talking about the 2024 , if I wanted a 2023 with out the curtain side air bags I could as well

 

Brining up this old post with new info though it might have been brought up since. Saw this on the other forum about 3rd gen wheels fitting the 4th gen but 4th gen won’t fit 3rd- we can take our 3rd gen spares again… maybe, if they fit the spot

 

$10-15K off for the 2023 Gladiators. '24s have new grille, airbags, 12.3 screen, etc. Also, Mojave X is top trim like a Pro/Raptor. Not going to get the heavy discount on any year of those.

Nonsense. I see plenty of negative posts in the TFL, QC hold, and XO TH threads among others.

It's only less compared to the mass hysteria here over a few issues on early builds. Not all negative posts are created equal.

Most are level headed concerned posts from buyers or owners over there with actual skin in the game. Then there's the paper racing tire kicking BS I read on here which is negativity for the sake of dramatic effect and trolling.
