I mean, they did ban a member here when he was actually seeking information about the truck and had an order in to buy one... Thats just the vibe I get when I search around over there, but it is just my opinion after all.

I mean, makes sense, if you are looking for technical info from owners and don't want to debate and poke fun at each other like car enthusiasts like to do, it is the perfect platform. As are the other generation model specific forums.

To me this one is more fun and has the sitting around the garage with buddies ragging on each other about cars vibe ...but thats just my opinion.

I do get it that some have never experience that part of being a car enthusiast, but that is just the sign of the times I guess

 

Wait a few months and the 24’s will be heavily discounted too.

 

Hopefully, keep hearing the tide is turning, trying to negotiate a left over GX 460 for my wife and they aren't even discounting those and low balling the crap out of her RXh trade in. Apparently dealers still think they have the upper hand.

 

That’s already been discussed here in another thread. It’s unknown if they had to drill out the lug holes or not. Also not known what lugnuts work with those larger lugs. I will say that using plastic hub ring spacers is a pain in the ass. I need them with the method wheels I have know and will never run a wheel that needs them again.

Intrigued as well, I got banned for being honest and asking a legit question to someones illogical response or said something about kool aid and got a "GTFO" as the reason, definitely a kool aid drinking group over there.

 

I thought the X just gives you a nicer interior than the regular Mojave and a full time 4WD option? It’s like a limited trim. And yes there are huge discounts on 2023 Mojave’s.

Well I was said user, and the reason response was very immature and apparently banning if you disagree about anything or 4th gen related facilitates such. I am being very honest, some illogical nonsense was being spouted and trash talking this forum over there and I said kool aid drinking and got that response and banned.

 

I never said I was banned for asking a question I said I asked a question and said Kool aid. Can you not read? I said I was banned and commenting about the nonsense over there on that site. Which is also funny cause they kept stealing all my screenshots from my first interactions and allocation for a 4th gen.

 

I elaborated, doesnt negate the point. Someone made a post about TW and 3rd gens and then I called them out on their fallacy or asked a question in relation to that fallacy (can't remember the details, cause WTF cares) and someone there (sounds like you) got their feelings hurt when I said kool aid and ban.

Are you suggesting that “debate and poking fun at each other” doesn’t happen on generation specific sites like Bronco6g? Have you even visited these sites? I stopped by when I was considering one. It’s borderline toxic there sometimes.

This is America, and the internet. You don’t ever have to worry about two or more people agreeing on anything for too long lol.

 

I questioned the narrow minded comments over there, especially when trash talking the OG enthusiast forum and then got banned with a "GTFO" response, it doesnt matter cause that forum is basically a group of 4th gen owners or potential owners who refuse to have any discussion that may hurt their idea of the new gen and then get banned for said discussion or making a comment outside the love affair, thats not a forum thats a border line cult. And ya I don't care but now I have an idea of who it was that banned me for silly reason and who was probably stealing my screen shots and posting as their own on said site. At the end of the day really dont care, but dont come in here trying to defend the environment or ban reason.

 

Trying to keep up in the 4th gen forum is tough, 20+ pages of comments when I stop visiting this thread for 20 min

Right, I wonder if anyone has used calipers to measure the lug holes in any of the 3rd gen wheels.

 

I was referring mainly to the Tacoma specific site, I know the guys on the Bronco site have a bit of fun, the are as much if not more fanatical than Jeepers.

 

I have no idea why I was banned, I did ask questions over there and questioned someone with a kool aid comment. Like I said its childish and clearly you are upset even now. Lol.

 

I was subscribed to that thread over there and got an email about your post which I still have in my Inbox. There's more to the story, as there always is. You posted that the entire forum is a bunch of kool aid drinkers and TW is better. You'd be banned on many forums for doing that.

And the so called "trashing talking" was simply another user saying people on TW were freaking out about the 4th gen Tacoma.

I have no horse in this race, but from the looks of it, that user was not wrong.

 

Please share the email that contains that comment thread, there's more to it than me making one comment in response to someone.
