a company I did final rounds for left me a VM saying they have an "exciting update to talk about". i didn't answer because the caller ID said "Casa del arbol" lmao

3 months of 8 interviews with this company and they said they can no longer hire remote and would only give me an offer if I commit to move to Santa Barbara or Boston buuuuut they loved me but have no sway with the VP blah blah

 

eff that noise

 

might just end up driving Lyft to make some holdover monies

 

I mean Santa Barbara sounds nice if they cover all the costs of moving I guess. But yeah that's dumb, they could have led with that info.

 

well, it was a remote role when I applied and as far as my interviews were concerned. the line I was given was that the VP or something mandated the team become an in-office team and they didn't notify me of that change. could have saved 5+ hours of interviews if they had
