Set up my wife's new shower caddy. Marked dials on new dryer with red nail polish because I'm as blind as a bat. Boxed up photos to give to my 2 rat kids because I am tired of storing their shit.
Got rid of cardboard boxes via OfferUp. Dishes in the dishwasher done. Going to return a phone to one of my oldest buddies. Now I'm going to get cleaned up and maybe take a nap. KFC for dinner because my spouse is working. (I made dinner last night)

Wearing my painters hat this week up at a home on a ski mountain in western Maine, and on the golf course.

Painting entire first floor. Cutting in around stained trim is not my favorite. All walls were Extra White. Customer added a little color here and there for accents, but most will still be just a refresh of the white. High cathedral main entry and upstairs will be a future project, dates TBD.

Was able to get all the prep and ceiling repairs done yesterday. Sanded and primed everything that needed it this am. Water damage from a backed up ice dam last winter. You can see all the shit I have to work around.

Entry/Kitchen and DR ceilings done. I had the entire kitchen covered in plastic. Entry, Kitchen and DR accent walls done. LR ceiling and walls are all that remains. Thought I would wrap up Thu, but if I bust my ars tomorrow, I can wrap it up. All remaining walls are white...so easy. I'll probably stay through Thu anyway. There's a cool ski mountain bar that has great food and open mich night on Thursday. I know the guy who plays the drums. I'll go check it out.

If it isn't itself, it might be protected from a GFCI upstream, possibly on the other side of the sink.

At age 70+, I've given up on major paint jobs myself. Been there, done that.

As with most projects, if an unplanned trip to the store didn’t happen, was it really home improvement?
One of the mounting bolts snapped on the toilet. Upon removal, I discovered the entire mounting ring had vaporized. The nails were so dead the heads just snapped off. Made things a bit easier.
    IMG_0583.jpg

20 mins later it was all fixed and back in business.
    IMG_0584.jpg

Good enough until we tear the whole bathroom apart in a future remodel.

This one was a fun one to install the plumbing fixtures and make connections. Designers didn't leave me much room to get under the stone.
