The quality issue with this product was identified nearly 6 months ago... any official word on a fix from Meso yet?

 

Aside from Travis’ comment earlier in this thread or the posts shared from their instagram account? You want a written apology and remorse bouquet or something?

 

Travis’ comment was nearly 4 months ago and the post shared from their Instagram account was about 5 weeks ago. I’m looking for information that’s less than 1-4 months old.

 

Given that it’s Chinese new years right now, I wouldn’t expect an update before March. They take that pretty seriously.

Again, I don’t understand what you want. It’s been acknowledged. You want weekly updates with no substance? It’s gonna take a hot minute for anything to get into customers hands

 

I want a fix, not just an acknowledgment of a quality control issue. It's been a known issue for about 6 months now. Time has passed for cryptic Instagram posts, it's time for an actual fix to be in our hands.

 

I had an exchange with them in the past couple weeks, they got back to me quickly. Patience is going to be the name of the game here, and no one is stuck on the side of the road because their volume icon is only partially illuminated..

I happened to glance at mine on the way home a few nights ago... i mean, how often do you really look at it versus just mashing it with your finger to up the volume? In a purely perfect world it would be as bright as the down volume and I'll take a replacement if they offer one in the future. But, in the meantime, no one notices that rides in my truck but me.

 

I actually do work in an industry that produces millions of “widgets” every day. If a quality issue arose on one of our production lines, we don’t have the luxury of taking 6 months to produce a viable replacement. We often have just hours to get our shit together.
