Looking at adding some bed stiffeners.
Any problems with the RCI brand?

I looked at them and they are a very well-made product, but I selected total chaos. The reason I did is the total chaos brand goes up further. I felt this did a better job of distributing the load

I don't think I need anything crazy, basically I only have my leer topper on.
Not any hard off roading, just dirt trails.

No one has said RCI or Total Chaos is trash. And the funky tab on the Total Chaos is the "engineering equivalent" of the mouse-ears on a Disney hat ... decorative instead of structural.

Compare the number of holes, shape/size of holes, price. Those will decide more than funny ear-tabs.

I went with Rago. No issues.

Made my own. Took a cue from Walt Disney.

    ^^^^^ Speak of the devil!

Someone decided to practice their welding and general metalworking skills, built some templates. Then cut, fit, drilled some anchor and tie-down holes, welded to make an L-shaped reinforced frame. End product looked good ... not perfect but who am I to criticize his best efforts?
