Almost every single dent or damage my truck sports is because of trees. Not so much stupid. End up tangled in a tree long before stupid gets engaged...

Sometimes those trees come out of nowhere.

Sometimes it's the encouragement from the people around you.

Is there a button on the dash for that?

Ummm… and getting tangled up in trees is brilliant in some way?
Or are you trying to differentiate the many levels of stupidity?

Hey, tangled up in trees is it's own kind of challenge! Someone we know is expert-level!

So... until you figure out that 4x4 button I am not sure you have a dog in this fight.

Just for the record, trees are sneaky bastards. They get things cocked up before stupid happens; at least, for me. Although I recall and incident with Jason...

    My theory

Trees just don't jump out in front or behind you.

    They grow real fast.

Let me know if the other deal falls through. I already have one 12.0 (+two 9.0's, one 8.0, two 6.0's, one 5.0, three 4.0's, two 3.0's, and four 2.0's ), but could probably find room for another if the price is right. :D

Maybe, but they get the job done. I am one of a very few who criticized the Falkens on 4Runners.com. They ride really nice on the highway, have taken all I have dished out on the trail, and never once hydroplaned. But I am really disappointed with the performance in snow. 2WD in snow is difficult to get moving. Most passenger cars would blow me off the line in the snow. It was embarrassing. Put in 4WD and giddy-up. Maybe I'm expecting too much as most others that have Falkens think they're great in snow. I'm starting to shop for tires and the Falkens are still at the top of my list. The only other tire I am considering is the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss. There's a thread on 4Runners about MT's, and the OP says they're pretty good in the snow.

48,000 on mine and I bought right after the price increase.

    Overall, I am too.

Thanks! Always open to peer pressure to whip the ole credit card out. I'll keep an eye on the events thread also. Moved over from a GTI so new to being able to actually drive interesting places.
