So uh… odd interaction on the highway heading home tonight. I’m going ~70 in a 65 passing people and come up on this Acura sedan thing going like 50 in the left lane.

I don’t tailgate them but I pull up at the minimum safe following distance and wait for them to move over. Since I’d rather not pass on the right. After about 30 seconds they shut all their lights off and floor it. I’m very confused at this point and speed up just to witness what their move is lol. After speeding up to ~85mph they still rapidly gapped me. Then I found them at my exit with their lights back on. They ran the stoplight and stop signs going into my neighborhood so I lost track of them. All I could think was maybe drugs?

So far haven't been called in for jury duty, just checked in regarding tomorrow and am off the hook...2 more check ins to go and then hopefully I go another 10+ years before the next summons

 

What’re all yall driving as dailys? I’ve got a BRZ at the moment but I’m gettin pretty tired of it, curious what everyone thinks compliments a taco best

 

Weird, you didn't just get dismissed altogether the first go around?

 

You have to call in every week night to find out if you're needed to "report in" the following day, so 5 nights of checking in. I've gotten 3 or 4 summons over the years and only been called in once. If called in you still have to go through the selection process, I've never actually been put on a case though

 

C63 AMG. 500hp of Germany luxury means that no matter how much boost the truck makes it always feels like a slow tin can with the amenities of a church pew.

What's the issue with the BRZ? Loved mine, great gearbox, nimble handling and the best steering feel of any car I've owned. Was a blast when I lived in the mountains, certainly wouldn't be as much fun here in the desert.
