    Lol.

Ive only been back in Michigan for 48 hours.

My goal was to return after spending the winter in the south, to not have to use a snow shovel.

The weather soothsayer tells me I may have use that evil device after all.

Speaking of rust, anyone in SE Michigan ever been to Motor City Auto Spa?

They do Fluid Film applications and vehicle detailling. I was interested in having them detail/clean the entire underside of my '21 and apply fluid film. Was quoted $225 for the undercarriage detail and $225 for the professional FF application. What do you guys think?

Sounds reasonable, about the same cost in the Kalamazoo area, rust never sleeps

I do a couple cars a year in my shop.

I charge $150 to undercoat with FF.

I'd recommend it, but I'd probably wait until next fall. Usually around November I'll apply Woolwax (thicker version of FF) myself and save the money from a shop doing it.

Calling upon the experience of my Michigan brethren…

Im currently working planning an off-roading/camping trip with some buddies (projecting late Sept right now). I’m trying to string together 3 days worth of trails in Manistee national forest area. Does anyone have any recommendations for must-do trails or camping area they would like to share? The Tin Cup loop seems like a shoe in but I’m curious about other trails in the area… Yuma Hills, Big O, Little Manistee Route, Lincoln Hills, etc.

    Any help/insight is much appreciated!

I have my ‘fleet’ Krown’d in Holland (there is one in GR too I think). They drill and spray atomized treatment inside cavities as well, which I like the sound of, not sure if the FF places do the same. $165 a year, two winters in and everything looks new still (albeit, oily and dirty; but, better than the alternative).

Krown is what I go with...you guys should cross the border to Wallaceburg Ontario for Krown. It's like 140 CDN$ which is like 100 USD. The Wallaceburg location does a much better job than the Sarnia location

I would look into East Coast Gear Supply (ECGS) in North Carolina. I think you send your 3rd members to them and they send them back regeared and ready to bolt up. Hope this helps.

I've looked Into them as well. The issue I have is I work 6 days a week, and no garage space. I want to avoid having my truck sit in the yard for weeks/months if I can. Doesn't look like we have many options here in michigan

We don't have many options and the shops that do it around here are sure taking advantage of that. I'm pretty sure ECGS's cost is substantially less than it is locally though. If I was regearing I'd call them and see what the turnaround is. It could help with local price negotiations.

Did a little exploring in Yankee Springs with my two little ones this afternoon. They both love exploring but baby girl doesn’t like the bumps or going downhill lol.

I've never even thought about driving out there. I've ridden the MTB trail once and I've done Barry Roubaix a couple of times though.
