I’ve been soloing challenging missions it’s get in get the obj and get out! I’ll pick samples up sometimes but only lvl 17 so still missing some of the good stratagems and/or bought the wrong shit and now I’m suffering through!

If I solo anything else lower difficulty it’s get it all done. I’m a completionist at heart! I wouldnt make others suffer through it though.

 

same... though i'm still at lvl 12. it's a lot of grinding to catch to everyone else.

It's alright, we were both playing not knowing how to even add you; we're on Steam.

 

I’m not even that high I think I hit level 5 when me and @cropduster78 were playing. If you’re able to turn the difficulty up I think you get more xp.

 

You definitely get more experience on higher difficulties, but you also get tougher enemies that might require gear you don't have yet. Then again the E-AT is a pretty early unlock and makes anything shy of a titan pretty doable. Even a titan might be with them, but IDK.

The more difficult it is to spread democracy, the better the payoff

 

I turned the difficulty up and it was almost too much for me on the automaton side. The bugs are not that bad but when you have robots shooting back and throwing bombs at you makes it a little more challenging.

 

Just kill them

 

Unless your team kills you; died 3 times in a few minutes due to accidental TK's

 

yeah... did my first mission on hard with Kwikvette last night and did pretty okay, definitely got my shit kicked in a few times. going to have to come up with other loadouts for the higher difficulties.

 

For armored enemies the E-AT is quick, easy, and leaves the backpack slot open for a shield or rover. Heck, some people will run a dual support load out. E-AT and then (insert preferred support weapon) and just swap as needed due to the E-AT's quick cooldown and the fact that one call in brings in two launchers.

The royal PITA for me on the bug side has been the damn stalkers. Those things are hell to deal with if your squad drops into their area to start with.

 

For our squad, once a stalker is spotted the #1 priority is taking out the nest. They will overrun you.

I feel the same, but they take at least two people to wipe usually. One to kill them the other to get ordinance on target. I hate those bastards.

 

Even though they go slightly invisible, I think the key is to always keep your head on a swivel

They've never once killed me and I've killed many of them myself

Though I think it has to do with 1. Keyboard and mouse vs controller and 2. When I play, it looks like I have ADHD because I am constantly turning all over the place even between shots as I like to prioritize my targets as I'm being chased or ambushed
