I see that..that's because there was no plate for it to bump against. How long have you been running that? Those bumps weren't doing anything without that plate.

My question as well..... usually the bump kit will come with a "strike pad", unless it was designed to hit the center of the u bolt plate but that usually requires a notched frame and the bump inset.

    lol you're not wrong.

I pulled them all and saved them on the laptop. Just kept getting frustrated trying to edit them into something manageable.

Just put them all together and upload it to YouTube. Watching that shit at 1.5 speed is the way to go.

I feel your pain though I have gopro vid from almost a year ago I still haven't uploaded yet. And really I'm just busting your balls.

I'm interested in joining for the ride on Saturday. I did Box Canyon and then a few drops of Elvis a few weeks ago- Pretty serious trail!

I am interested in doing more challenging trails and I am adding to my skid plates to help protect my transfer case.

I can firm up my attendance in a few weeks.

Thanks for putting this together @Supr4Lo !

That’s a beautiful truck! Hope to see you out there.

What did you do for a xfr case skid?

Thank you! It's been quite the journey!

Here is the skid: I made a new cross member after the transmission member that bolts to the frame. This will help mount the additional skid that I plan to weld to my transmission skid:

    PXL_20240320_190711747.jpg

I haven't folded up the edges just yet. I need to finish it today.

    PXL_20240319_173712423.jpg

I use carriage bolts so I can still remove them after I grind the heads on rocks .

I stole this design from @cbechtold and made my own changes as I saw fit. Mostly I made the cross member sealed so junk doesn't get inside (sleeves where the carriage bolts penetrate the cross member)

Pretty slick:thumbsup: Nice to have a laser and cut them nice square holes! I like it, Nice job
@TACOTU3 This would have been a great option as well. Think we went for the extra Beef, we should revisit the bolts. I didn't think about carriage bolts for the three in the middle..
