I had them on my GFC and they were fantastic! Can’t wait to get these dialed in!

Has anyone tried the CrashPad SP has on their website? Thinking about getting it, but the price is a bit steep and wanted to get some reviews. I'm a taller person (6' 4"), so a little extra length will be nice. Does it work well with a partner also sleeping up there?

I know “hunter_pauley” on instagram has one so might be worth reaching out to him if no one else chimes in. Looks like it’d be super nice to add that extra room and still keep the pass through usable but I agree, price seems a bit steep

King 2.5 OME heavy pack Camburg UCA's Magnuson Super Charger Super Pacific X1 (with built out bed) The list continues to grow as my bank account continues to suffer!
Good morning and happy Wednesday everyone!! It's been a few since I posted an update on here and there have been quite a few!! Echoing @Pagan220 is the release of The Original SP X1 Rain Drain!! This set banishes the waterfall that is brought on by rainwater back to its rightful place in your rigs factory rain channel (icing on the cake is that it allows use of the SP mounting points and doesn't break the bank!). Additionally, some folks have inquired about the Camper Leash, and the Upgraded Brake Light...all back in stock!

The biggest update is that I recently moved my store (ASG Offroad) away from Etsy as the fees where a bit steep (to put it lightly!! hahaha) and launched www.ASGOffroad.com.

Below are a couple of photos to pique your curiosity and happy trails!!

I have looked at this quite extensively but not yet in person. Has everything i had been looking for in a camper and topper setup. I cant quite justify the price for this. Is there other brands that you all would compare to this one or should I keep pondering the enviable purchase of this.

Any special mods that go well with this setup?

Buy used then. The cheaper knock offs are cheap overseas made and actual support and durability has yet to be tested. At least with SuperP and GFC you have more local support

Yeah I have always been a buy quality over "quantity, cheap". You will pay more but it will last longer.

I always have the curiosity of why someone is selling, especially when it is newer and they invested so much.

They guy I bought mine from had back surgery so getting in and out was difficult for him. I think also a lot of people change their minds a lot these days. While I love my X1 so far, if I ever come across a cheap FWC slide in pop up, id switch because Id like to have the ability to use my truck bed more easily. But those are way to expensive for me at the moment.

As awesome as this style of camper is they aren't the best choice for everyone. And lots of people go out and buy things without fully thinking it through it having the experience to realize that. Just look at all the people driving around with boxy RTTs on their Subaru who bought them because they look cool and "now I can go camping." Most of those people would have been 100x better off with an inexpensive ground tent. At least with an SP or GFC you can get most of your money back.
