Removing Factory Aluminum Bumper and Insurance Concerns

    So I’d like to install the Torque Engineering hidden winch mount, the factory aluminum bumper has to come off and stays off.
    Not sure how my insurance company feels about that, you suppose they will deny a claim if there is a front end collision?

    There are a ton of modified trucks on here, and we've seen plenty of collisions and offroad shenanigans. I've yet to read a single case on here of an insurance claim being denied due to mods.

    They may not cover the mods themselves, based on your policy... but never a full out denial.

    In my numerous experiences, insurance companies just want to finalize claims ASAP (before injuries show up) and rarely ask questions about the vehicles involved.
