    2006 Tacoma 4.0 Prerunner, 2013 & 2014 Tacoma 4WD 4.0L
    Leveling kit, hydro dipped rims & skid plate on 2013, 6” pro comp lift & color matched rims on 2006.
    Cleaned the EGR temp sensor on my daughter’s 01 because of the 401 code. Used a 3/8” line wrench cause didn’t have access to a 14mm. Worked fine. Didn’t realize coolant passed through the EGR valve.

    For what it's worth I took Durobumps off in favor of the PerryParts. I've only had them since October but thats longer than I got from the Durobumps, the price is better and it came with stronger hardware too (10.9 stamped bolts).




    @Burro
    I would recommend getting a second set and replace the front bumpstops on the lower control arm as well. I still had some rubbing until adding the second set

    I ended up throwing these on the rear of the LCA since that's what the durobump instructions said for theirs. Do you think it matters?

    And the second set of perrys you got for the front of the LCA are the same PN as these correct? I guess if it is the placement shouldn't matter too much? I do see that durobumps use different parts for front and back.

    You have it correct, I see that now.

    And yes it's the same PN for the front and rear of the LCA with PerryParts

    Technically they are different sized spaces. The rear is less than the front one. So if at the rear they touch first before the front ones. How that affect performance, not totally sure.

    That's true and It may have some effect but I haven't noticed anything

    Not really arguing for or against either of them but the Durobumps only replace the rear bumpstops and that would come into contact long before the OEM front bumpstop so it was a similar ish situation (I've heard Durobumps offer some for the fronts as well but I didn't get a response when I asked about ordering some after my original purchase).

    The front bumpstops see almost constant action so maybe ill rotate them with the tires so they wear evenly

    "clutch return issue" as in your clutch pedal doesn't like to come back up? If so, and if you have a V6, I can almost guarantee it’s your clutch pedal return spring. It's a goofy coil spring setup. The plastic bushings on it wear out, and then the slot in the clutch pedal that it rides in wears deeper. Most people just pop the coil spring out and replace it with a brake pedal return spring. It’s a linear spring, and the points to connect it to are already there because the 4-cylinder models use a linear spring. I know I did.

    No, they need a rubber internal barrier for coolant, otherwise coolant and oils will leach through them

    There's a couple baseplates available now to adapt to a Skunk2 or Holley plate.

    yeah I would prefer one that is more like a 7mgte or 2jzgte style. One that went off to the side and put the TB over the Alternator area.

    Kinda would be tough with the oil fill. Also would still be long and couldn't be huge diameter there, it would literally only be good for IC packaging.
