I can't possibly read all past posts in this thread to check if this has already been mentioned, but there are some beautiful knives on display.

I gave up on expensive knives a long time ago. I've had a number of folders either try to take off my fingers in use, or circumcise me while pocketed.

Thus, my choice now is a simple, inexpensive, tough, and stupidly sharp Mora Companion.

Of course, it's not an EDC in "civilized" places, but my Leatherman Squirt handles anything else in situations where carrying the Mora would raise an eyebrow or worse.

Nice! Was that made by Schrade? It looks like one of their yearly commemorative special editions. They produced some really nice US made knives for LL Bean over the years. I have an Old Timer and an Uncle Henry. I believe they were bought out a few years ago and their production moved to China.

 

No markings, but I’m 99% sure it’s early 70s Schrade. Almost identical to a 94OT pattern, but with a swedge on the clip blade, and the nail nick on the spey blade on the outside.

 

Is this a legit value? B/c I have one of these and had no idea. I know ebay can be all over the place but does the asking price have any merit?

Thinking about parting ways with a few lightly used and 1 new.

Wanted to gauge interest if anyone was interested before I stuck on an auction site.

These GEC's are great knives. I have had a couple over the years. For the past few years, GEC has become more collectible. I can understand why, who wouldn't want to give this to a future generation?
