I said screw it and just ordered the tool from Optics Planet. I'm sure this won't be the last set of sights I put on a pistol.

 

It's one of those things that's just nice to have when you need it.....no matter how few times that is

It’s nice to know if you need to move your sight just a hair one way or another, you got the tool to do it!

With that being said, I need a 34mm socket in my tool set too.

 

What's that fit? And do I need one?

 

I have one saved for later in my Amazon cart I been meaning to order just in case. When I changed out my axles last time I think I used an 1-3/8" socket lol. It was sloppy but got the job done.

 

Oh wait, axle nuts are 35mm. I'm not sure what the 34mm is for lol

 

That’s what I meant lol. I need an axle nut socket to add to my tool box.

 

I would imagine I'd never use that on my own. I don't mind doing work......I'm just not comfortable enough to tackle stuff like that without having someone there that really knows what's going on.

Note to self... Glo-On sight paint does not stick well to gun blue. I drilled 5/64's point holes in my LCP sight and applied new UV glow paint. Looks better and hopefully sets up better.

 

I remember the Yamaha R1 and R6. That's all I can remember
