I've been spending most of my free time doing little things here and there. *My Girlfriend asked me if I was DONE with the truck after this...I laughed a little and told her the truck was a constant evolution and I'd never be done with it!! She looked at me like I had just condemned us both to eternal damnation.* I painted the remaining badges black, sleeved the fog lights, did the any time fog's mod, ordered TRD FJ center caps that I will fit and paint to match the rims, and ordered my DTRL kit. I finished up the rims last night....er' this morning at about 4am. They turned out great! I used 600 grit sandpaper, beer, self etching primer, help from the 'ol lady, and Duplicolor Graphite Wheel paint. (No Clear for multiple reasons.) I went with Gunmetal because so many people with white Taco's go with black and I haven't seen many that do the graphite. I went to the dealership today to see about getting the TSB scheduled for the throw out bearing chirp (Scheduled for Tuesday! Ill keep you updated) and the service writer and a few others wanted to know where I ordered my wheels from and if they were special edition. I just smiled and let them ponder on it. (When I order my Expo SR5 badges from SockMonkey, it will really throw people off...) Enough chat, here are the pics. If you have questions feel free to ask! Let me know what you think Tacoma World!

The Pics still don't show how much pearl/metallic flake is in the paint, they look even better in person.

    Thanks!

Thanks! I do have spacers; Spidertrax on all 4 corners. Never had a problem from them. I went from a spacer and block in the rear to the billy's and 1.5 AAL and love it! I actually like the stance a little better lowered 1/2" from what it was. Plus the ride is amazing now. NO rubbing issues either, none at full lock, none when turning full lock entering a steep driveway...nothing. I guess I'm lucky.... *We will see when I go down a trail though.*

Looks great! I have thought about doing mine in gun metal. Just about everybody with Silver does black wheels, though it would look good and be different. I'm afraid of messing them up though.

Looks great. I have a set of Sport wheels sitting in the garage that I may have to try this with. Why didn't you put a clear coat on? Just curious.
