Since we sold the store and don’t have the lottery in front of us, we rarely, and I mean rarely get a ticket.

 

Ive cracked more double yolk eggs than won lotto

 

Yeah. I am not against gambling as long as you are responsible.
I am against continuous bombardment of advertising from the lottery telling people they have to play to win and not telling the truth about their CHANCE to win. Our lottery system is nothing more than a voluntary tax with 0.000003% chance to win, and I choose not to volunteer.

I always told people the only person winning was the state.

 

We only put lottery tickets in Christmas cards and such for each other.
The last one I had started out like this:

Oddly enough it wasn't a winner.

We’re in the county, not city.

 

Wife went to Walmart, you don’t have to be the head self checkout cashier to figure this one out

$5.48 for a 12 pack
$12.98 for a 24 pack

 

The numbers game…. If it’s over $500,000, the $2 on a ticket to dream a win is worth it to us.

A win is not part of our financial planning.

 

Dunno about being killed by a meteor... I think the lottery might win that one.

That looks good, I hope it works. If the water still wants to cross the road at that driveway, I'd recommend burying a 6" pipe across the road to give it an easier path.

I have never bought a lottery ticket.

And last time I went to Vegas, I didn't spend a single cent gambling.

 

Similar to my strategy, but I won't stand in line to get a ticket, or make a special trip to the store for it. Not worth that much time.

 

The owners at my former job were notoriously *cough* thrifty...

When the lottery reached a record high the staff in the office pooled together and bought some tickets. They were stunned when he got in as well.
