Not at the time of launch. A year in, yes, but multiple magazines tried to do it and could not match the graphics for the price on a computer.

And from a software standpoint? Debugging? Virus/malware/general use fatigue?

They definitely have their place and do things a console won't, but I prefer having the ease of the console. Turn it on, and it goes. No need to make sure settings are tinkered and such. To each their own for sure.

    Agree, fair point!

Want to say this one varies per person, for all subjects you mentioned

Debugging is a thing you get used to when dealing with software that's unfinished, or like @Littles and I were talking about...games even (feeling unfinished) that we could expect to see in consoles as well

This game is proof of that so far

As for the virus and malware, oof  just be careful of whatcha do out there! Don't trust that email from a Nigerian prince

Although, I won't get into the various engines that are easily accessible to find users of outdated OS' online and more...protect yourself in ways you might want to attack someone yourself :anonymous:

    Yep, convenient for many!

Differences aside, I'm happy to spread democracy with any of my fellow Helldivers, whether they're on PC or console :infantry:

If anyone wants to jump on, I'll be free in a bit

I read on ign that the crashes are happening a lot more and the developers are looking into it.

Arc weapons are causing a ton of crashes after the patch yesterday..or was it Tuesday? It's best to take that weapon off for now or so I've read.

No issue here, and a few people used them in our game an hour ago.

Nice, well, if you do run into a lot of crashes, that's the issue. Here's the post from one of the devs on their Discord.

I haven't had time to play since the patch, but probably will jump on tonight and hope for the best.

Interesting; I use the Tesla tower on some missions as well without issue (when solo).

"Linked to the issue" does not mean "cause of the issue" so it's not going to be every time with or without those items.

Wonder who the majority are, whether it's console or PC

I don't experience any crashes, not since the patch

If anything, the big issue I had was the whole friends list deal but that was somehow changed in Steam (and fixed)

    Any you guys experiencing crashes?

    If so, console? PC?

I've only played a couple times since the patch, and I've had some crashes (PS5), but no more than before the patch.

    Dang that sucks

I've slowed down my playing as well; it's a grind trying to get those supers with rando's so I'll be stuck where I'm at for a bit

I was sick for a good portion of my time off, and when I work I don't usually play much.
