Sharing more 4th gen info since why not?

Looks like I’d have to sell my BR6 wheels too…

it would be too much poke for my liking. They said these wheels are 16x8 and -10 offset. The BR6 are -12 offset

 

Too cold to paint. Again.

 

That’s why they make wide-body fiberglass fenders and bed skirts… jeeze, what’s another $4k plus paint?

 

Did someone say long travel?

 

4K turns into 6K+ paint

if I had 4 extra K and a 4th gen, I’d get it wrapped in something close to the nice timberland mica.

Extra $4k for a full wrap, add another $2k… remember, your current wheels still hang out to far and will trash that new wrap job.

 

Then another 2k for sliders, since the 3rd gen short bed sliders won’t work.

 

@Tonymontana can weld ya up some plates. Then he can cut the tubes, extend them and re-weld. Gusset it for strength anmd grind to a smooth finish! All it’ll cost ya is some BBQ, beer and I got a powder coating guy.

Wife and I built and have looked at new Sequoia’s and 4Runners. She wants a 4Runner, but told her we could trade the Taco in on a Sequoia and be around the 4Runner price tag… she laughed at me, but I was serious.

 

Man those new sequoias are soooo nice. I could never afford one but I love the new design.

 

Oh, totally agree… beautiful for sure, but my wallet isn’t like that. She’d have to give up her dream of a new Runner and I’d have to let the Taco go… and then we’d still probably never be able to make the payment. Just can’t fathom how people drop just shy of six-figures on new vehicles? We can’t even consider a Runner until the Taco is paid off 100%… by then, Runners will probably be $70k. And Electric, so that’ll be a hard pass if they go that route… not even sure I can deal with a hybrid yet. Full-on combustion is all I know!! Lol

 

Walt, if you get down this way it's behind McDonalds. Go down to the 4-way stop at the pond and turn right. It's just past the elementary school on the right. Noticed today he's pulled the right front fender (it was damaged) and the hood is off resting against the fence. I'm off tomorrow, maybe I'll go for a walk and get a closer look.

 

The 25 is supposed to be a redesign and “The 2025 4Runner is gearing up to take on rivals like the Ford Bronco and Jeep Wrangler in the ultimate off-road showdown.” all for 45-60,000
