Is it just an optical illusion or are your fog lights aimed at the sky?

Yep, good eye, pointed up a bit. Literally lights up the entire deepest darkest forests up here in western WA.

You sound like you can educate me on uniball style UCA. I have the camburg billet, and they are starting to squeak.
To grease them, do you have to pull them off completely ,or just pull the long bolt slightly off and drope in some lube/grease. And how About the middle, where it's capped?
I called camburg and they said something about tying something with fishing line before capping it to not let air in.
    Thanks for reading

285/75/r16 Nitto Trail Grappler M/T’s, Extang 2.0 hard tonneau tri-fold. Billstein 5100’s front/rear with OME 886 coils and Headstrong off-road 3 leaf progressive AAL. All speakers replaced with Kicker CS Series. BulletPoint Taco Bar with stubby CB mic holder and two-way FRS/GMRS radio holder. Uniden PRO505XL 40 ch CB. RCI engine and transmission skid plates. RCI sliders. Garmin Mini Dash Cam 2. CMC by Milogen Fabrication.
Interesting. I’m torn between Camburg and Total Chaos. I definitely want something with uniball construction.

I know that PB Blaster works well for the leaf spring squeak. I usually apply between the leaves and in the bushings and it lasts for quite a while.

Negative on grease for heims and uniballs. Dry ptfe lubricant only. CRC makes some (get it on Amazon) and Camburg advertises this one on their website.

    https://camburg.com/shop/suspension...s/super-lube-ptfe-dry-film-heim-uniball-lube/

Take the cap off, spray ptfe, replace cap. Up to you if you want to pull the uca bolt to spray the heim joints. I'd try the lazy approach first and spray them without removing the uca bolts. If they still squeak pull the bolt. A little noise is normal.

No clue on what they were talking about with the fishing line. The o ring on the cap for the uniball should seal out a bunch of debris from getting inside.

edit: Maybe they meant Finish Line PTFE.

Lol.. That's funny if so.. He did mention a couple PTFE products, and for sure something about not letting AIR in when you recap it..I love fishing though so that's where my mind went.

I'm buy no means a expert on the two. I went with camburg because I'm local in South Orange county, I see their UCA on trucks all the time, and they seem to have a great reputation. Their team and videos are pretty cool too.

Also completed the MESO vent rings, climate dials, 4wd dial, and starter button. Relocated the VSC switch to the overhead console to make room for the anytime switch to the lower left. The rain came so I left the lower drivers panel on the floorboards for tomorrow.

What’s the piece you have that surrounds the trim of the entire radio/center console area?

Added tried and true Bilstein 5100s with factory coils, Icon progressive add a leaf, and installed some used TRD Sport fender flares to my SR v6 4x4. Set the front Bilsteins on the 4th clip with a 1/4 driver side spacer for 1.55" front lift and kept the factory overload spring in the rear with the AAL for 2" out back. I call this an SR+.

That's a pretty clean install. That being said, how were you able to mount it with the OEM skid plate, when the Cali Raised bumper requires you to trim it?

I am on crutches and I just got a new to me 2023 SR5. The previous owner did lots of stuff I didn't like and some of it will have to wait until I get off crutches. That said, I am proud to say that in the past two days, I did get a few things accomplished:
    - ordered the TRD shift knob (the red stitching goes well with Barcelona Red)
    - buffed out 8 scratches in preparation for a future stint with the orbital polisher
    - removed the front bug deflector or whatever the heck that thing was (improper installation resulted in paint damage to the plastic cowling around the grill)
    - removed some sort of storage that was two-face taped to both sides of the center console

It ain't much, but it ain't bad for my current situation. And, I am certainly gaining a new appreciation for what handicapped people live with. I am very fortunate to be coming off the crutches next week. "Playing truck" will start to ramp up then!
