    Hey Eric,

    I had a nice drive to Centerville, MD on Sunday with my wife. Of course, driving through rural DE & MD is always a new experience.

    Even though we've driven through in the past when we would fly out of BWI...or visit Inner Harbor...or visit our daughter/son-in-law when they lived in Canton.

    I enjoy the drive even though some drivers make the trek challenging...lol!

    Anyhow, thanks for dropping by this thread to say "hello."

    Hey you'all.

    This weekend marks our 34th wedding anniversary on Sunday.

    It just so happens, I'm flying to Charleston, SC on the same day.

    During my military career, my wife has had to endure deployments and me having time away.

    It's never an agreed appointment but WORK causes us to make them the priority--at the beck and call. lol (Trying to sound poetic)

    Anyhow, I've been retired from Active Duty 13 years come 1APR and my current job is the 9th in so many years.

    U2's song, "I still haven't found what I'm looking for" was my song for the longest time.

    Now that I've found my "Sweetest Perfection", I'm reflecting on the road that got me here.



    I'll be taking out my wife this Friday for dinner before I fly on Sunday.

    Upon my return the following Friday, albeit late...my arrival is just before midnight...lol!

    We will be heading to the beach Saturday morning for another "Couple's Massage" and an overnighter at the beach.

    I always try to make things up with my wife...Lord knows, she's endured quite a bit. :)

    Dinner with wife tonight...adult kids come over tomorrow to celebrate our anniversary and then I fly Sunday.

    I guess there's some excitement going on...except I'm preoccupied with being at work today and then all kinds of tasks between now and travel Sunday. lol
