Dump truck beat me home yesterday.




Took the tractor and packed it, then the car.





The neighbor lady’s driveway turns to the left and has huge dips in it. I won’t touch it.




But I did scrape the right side going to it since it’s shared and our house is next. Minimum disturbance.





Now where’s the fun starts. She seriously can’t keep her mouth shut. She walked down to our house and told my wife, she didn’t tell me, she said she wished I hadn’t done that cause it’s gonna wash

Her and my wife then walked to the shop where I was finishing my FIL’s sprayer so he can get it today.

Neighbor tells me “I hope you didn’t scrape anymore of the ditch at the top, James doesn’t want that ditch touched”. I dropped my tool in my hand and looked her in the eye and said you know what, I actually talked to James yesterday and he was okay with me working on it, and he’s the only neighbor who helped me without me asking.

She said well you know he hates women. I said that’s not true either, my wife and daughter came down to help us and he was as nice as he could be.

She said maybe he just doesn’t like me.

You could have heard a pin drop. My wife and I both were quiet.

She also told my wife they paid to have that ditch fixed before we moved in. My wife said when? We moved in August, the first time we came to look at it was last January and it was in bad shape then


When I was coming in yesterday our other neighbor, whom I’ve met once when we moved in stopped and ask me what I was building. I said I built a chicken coop. She said no, down in the woods I can see the roof. I said oh, that’s our deer blind. She said you’re not gonna shoot my deer are you? I said no ma’am, but if they cross the property line onto us that’s trespassing and the penalty for that is the freezer.

Back in idaho we had a road worse off than that.i was the only one did work to it. I paid a few times for gravel and someone to scrape it.
