There is a deal for some 14" Bilstein 5125s near me, they have a collapsed length of 20.77". I know most guys run 12" shocks when they do the shock relocation but I was wondering if I could still get decent up travel with 14". I am planning on Chevy 63s in the future but can't do that yet.

    4 run, 2 don't
    Aren't 5125's non-serviceable?

I'd skip buying used, budget-friendly non-serviceable shocks and just do a relocation with the shock you intend to run.

I don't mind using cheap used shocks, I am under a pretty tight budget. But I could wait around to get 12" shocks if that's the only thing that will end up being usable.

Look into Bilstein's 7100 short body shocks. You could get 14" shortbody shocks that will fit in the same space as the regular 12". They are not expensive either.

The guy has some shock hoops with them and he's gonna sell it all together for 100. I think I'll do it and hope for the best lol.

Those are impressive but the collapsed length is only a little more than an inch less, I could probably just extend my lower mounts a little bit. Also, they are a good bit out of my budget right now.

OP it is going to depend on your shock hoop height above the frame and what is acceptable for the lower mount to hang down to you whether or not those shocks will work. I run 12" kings under the bed... not for everyone though

I’m ok with a decent amount of hang down and I think I can get the shock hoops pretty high. I’ll be working on it the next couple of days and post pictures.
