I think they adjusted the suspension a bit in the rear to help with the bed bounce, several reviewers have commented that it is a bit better than the previous one.

 

unsure i just know ford cant tune shocks for shit! id go over curbs with the stock suspension and it would rock all over the place! it was just awful!

 

They moved the shocks and the shock mounts on the rear outboard of the frame rails, and stretched the wheelbase and track to try to improve that.

 

oh you could improve it easily on the 5th gen just buy new suspension haha

 

I don’t know about the regular ranger models but the suspension on the raptor looks pretty sweet.

I'd argue that it is far more likely than getting a "Pro" at 56k.

 

I think that boat has sailed. I get the sense that our expectations of pricing across major competitors need adjusting.
