Lot of talk about toilet paper holders lately. @six5crèéd works with metal, I work with wood. My daughter had a problem holder that people would bang their knee on and loosen the drywall anchors. She asked me to build a heavy duty wooden one. Here is my version...
    20240321_175839.jpg
If this one gets knocked off the wall two things will happen:
    1. Somebody will be in the hospital getting their knee fixed
    2. The stud will have to exit the drywall.

Probably has between her and him, I’m not the guy to argue with about all that though. I know I got to use it to get to my house

Funny...I am working on a new application for a company that makes "Cementing" trucks. These are the guys who pour concrete hundreds of miles from any concrete plant. They have huge containers of dry cement and water and go out and mix several yards of concrete. Oil wells, gas wells, transmission lines, remote walls, etc.
Last week I worked on a remote submarine application that can go almost 1,000 miles before resurfacing. Sometimes cool stuff, sometimes boring stuff.

The town is using my excavator ;) to ditch the road for the first time in 30 years.
The driveway is just behind me to the left.

    KIMG3854.jpg

Years ago they worked the roads with a tractor the size of a Ford 8N with a stone rake and back blade .

Then they got a grader - you can see how far the road has been cut down over the years, the road bed is clay now.

    KIMG3856.jpg

This is steeper than it looks in the photo, further down the water would jump the road and you had to drive on ice.
The right side was just cleared by the power company last month during the nice weather. 2 guys did it all, they busted @$$.

I’ve got a buddy that works at a local gun shop. He called me earlier today and asked “didn’t you want a .22 snub nose pistol? I told him it wasn’t high on my list but for the right price I would pick one up. The price was right.

I have (I think) at least 4 guns I’ve impulse bought and haven’t shot. Couple M1 garands, a few sigs, an ak, maybe another one or two. It’s tough when I can have them shipped right to the house. :anonymous:
