    i love my side steps. you can take them away, but only after you pry away my rights to guns and knives.

    it significantly helps getting into the truck by adding a middle point that i don't need to flex my knees so far for, especially given my reckless nature as a child, and "look at us jumping off the garage roof into the wading pool" antics...

    I have a confession. I actually tossed it out prior to making this thread and then had regrets that I might have thrown something I needed.

    Made this thread to make sure I didn't need to buy a new one. I blame the ADHD.

    I have 6" wide running boards on my Taco.
    They help to protect my doors from the door dings. They make it easier for my kids and for my 75 yo parents to get in and out. They make washing the roof easier.
