    Yessah!

Drove from Fort Worth over to Pensacola for a couple of days (attended College there), then up to Maine with an overnight in Roanoke. Nice even split of driving time. 10.5, 11.5 and 11.5 respectively.

That's good time from Fort Worth to Pensacola! We go to 30A from north of Dallas and it's a solid 12 hours. Must have been east bound and down!

I took I20 to Shreveport, then 49 down to I12/I10.

That's how we go. Maybe it's just closer than I thought from Ft Worth. Granted, we're going to Rosemary at the end of 30A, so that's probably at least another hour.

From P'cola to the end of 30A is a solid 1.5 hour drive.

Hopefully will be cooler when I get some rings for the scope. I need to get a new top rail bc this one is 30moa and I need the zero moa one

What scope are you going to put on it? I’ve used the Banner II on my last few rimfires. Really nice scope for the price. clear right down to 25’ or so, and right out to 200 yards. Usable BDC. Comes with perfectly good rings for a picatiny rail. It’s going to be a fun rifle.

I already have a burris 3-9x40 fullfield e1for it. It only has 50moa vertical adjustment so having the 30moa rail on it is already too much

IMG_0262.jpg Take a Journey with me.
Back in Jan of this year I bought a 7" PSA .300 BLK upper on sale to make a truck gun.
When the upper arrived I took the lower off of my .300 BLK hunting AR with a 16" barrel to use on it.
While test firing this new upper after chambering the first round using the charging handle and firing the first round the first shot would eject but the second round would never get picked up by the bcg and chambered. Each time I had to pull the charging handle to move a new round into the chamber to fire. But at the end of the round count the bolt would hold open on an empty mag.
This happened with 3 different types of ammo both Subsonic and full power loads.
I was convinced that I was moving to much mass with such a short barrel so I ordered a Primary arms "Yellow" low power buffer spring and a 3 pack of KAK lower weight buffers to play around with.
When I received the buffer spring and the buffers in the mail I started playing around with different combinations of the spring and the buffer weights and the 3 types of ammo that I had. Still coming up with the same results.
So I contacted PSA and we went back and forth with Emails on what I had been doing for a couple of weeks and PSA decided that they wanted me to send my upper back in for Warranty repair. It took PSA two weeks to send me a Packing Label :annoyed: I mailed my upper in on a Friday and they got it the next Monday they test fired it and had the same results that I did then they decided to drill out the gas hole in the barrel to .98 and they fired it and sent me an Email and told me that it was fixed and that my upper was on it's way back to me :bananadance:. My upper was back to me in three days. Less than a week out of my hands and it was back at my house.
When I opened the box the flash hider and hand guards were lose and the crush washer was the original washer.:annoyed:and one of the gas block screws was not completely tight
So I went to the gun store and bought a new crush washer and put everything back together myself.
After test firing it again with all 3 types of ammo I had, my Pistol now fires perfectly .
I did send a follow up Email back to PSA as to how my upper was returned to me.
    Thanks for reading.

I was talking to my buddy about this today. Are y’all reloading cause damnit ammo is too expensive to be out shooting regularly. I know I can’t afford to not shoot but I can barely afford range time these days.
