    Going to get the ninja tomorrow for the week!!! Super excited!!! Since she started preschool we only get her during breaks. I’m sure her mom will let us have her again once school is out…. She’s been amazing and I’m so thankful!


    The ninja is Maxx’s daughter. She lives 6 hours away. We meet half way to get her. Maxx got her 8 days a month and her mom allowed us to keep his visits after.

    Starting as a Signals (traffic light) tech/inspector on Monday April 1st.

    Pay ain't great, but the benefits are tremendous. $32/month for health insurance (and it's good) 5 weeks PTO, 11 paid holidays (12 on election years, because gubment)

    Well if I do the math right it'll add up to very similar Take home pay from the last job. If you don't count my extra work there cleaning the shop. But I'm also starting some IT security classes so I can hopefully pick some of that up on the side.

    But unlike the last job I'll actually have paid time off here. Plus since it's still St. Louis County. They are going to honor my years of service for my previous career. So in 13 months I'll move up to 6 weeks of PTO

    Have to keep the cheapest one in the area which right now is the one I'm in. And with all the job stuff and truck maintenance stuff hitting at the same time I don't really have any more money for down payments or deposits or anything like that. Going to be hard to secure rent at a decent place.

    Well okay, I did find one that was significantly cheaper. However, it's basically in the back of an alley and I stepped over needles to get to the door to talk to the owner. So that's not really a viable option with a kiddo. Plus one of the units has a boarded up window.
