Shop Time w/T.W. Friends

Sorry for the lack of pics, but I was helping fill the curb and moving concrete to low spots. Then came the rain.

6.88 meters of concrete. First truck had 7 yards, second truck brought 2 more.

 

Honestly, thread tape is my 10mm.
I buy a roll almost every time I'm at the hardware store(slight exaggeration)
Yet every time I need it, it's nowhere to be found.
Probably have a few dozen rolls hiding around here someplace.

I haven’t bought a roll in years, I’ve got several friends who work for the local power company

 

Rained hard last night. The little bit of gravel the neighbor said would wash near her driveway, didn’t move.




The asphalt millings stayed put as well, so glad and thankful they did. Ditch did its job.

 

@six5crèéd Shane, over in the 50+ thread a guy in VA posted up pictures of a massive forest fire up in the NE part of the state. Is that anywhere near you?

 

I may pull the plastic off this evening or tomorrow.

 

No, we’re in southern Virginia near the NC line. Kind of in the middl. There are a lot of fires going on, winds have been awful lately.

 

I couldn’t remember how far into VA you moved. Glad it’s not near you, it looked pretty bad.

I mean... what can I say? You certainly spell trash fire differently than I do but that may be a regional thing.

That’s what keeps this thread so interesting, I used to think it was all the wonderful, talented people but that’s not it. It’s how we spell and interpret things differently
