Judging by your current setup, I believe you'll need to find a way to route another hose from the cool side, to the smaller tube on the cross-over pair of tubes.

You can always add in oil-to-air oil cooler in the front. With a GReddy sandwich plate. Remove the OEM oil cooler. That would help simplify the coolant lines.

    I don’t get it.

yes anything is possible. When there’s a will there’s a way.

but why would you delete a Tstat? Are you relocating it?

Tstat closes to warm up in closed loop. Faster warm up reduces engine wear.

then it opens when hot, for open loop, to allow for cooling to keep the engine from overheating via the radiator.

    why delete that?

At the end of the day it was designed as a water cooled motor.
Some vehicles came air cooled. Like old Porsches. That I believe to accomplish that have a much higher oil capacity, up to around 10qt, so the oil does the cooling. And a lot more metal cooling fins to dissipate heat.
What other differences they have to pull of air cooling I don’t know. Such as if their oil circuit has a thermostat. And if they run an auxiliary oil cooler.
I think even some water cooled cars still have an auxiliary oil cooler if they get hot and are high performance.

Clean the engine bay and it is a “race” truck. No relocation

    I get it
But isn’t shaved engine bays for VW MK4 people bottoming out at Best Buy

if it is a race truck, then you want reduced wear
And you want cooling to handle the high temps of beating on it, as well as high temps created by running more lower including from turbos
    I would think…

pretty sure F1 teams still warm their cars up
performance vehicles seem to have cooling systems

I plan on running water injection system it is a more efficient way to cool down an egine.

At the end of the day the thermostat mostly helps during warm up, when you are riding in traffic or somewhat hard the thermostat stays open.

F1 engine tolerances are so tight that at room temperature the engines are "seized". Hot oil and coolant are circulated through the engine for a period of time before they ever crank the engine.
