SoCal Truck Spotting - Stalking for Some =P

69 Bravo. The only one of its kind on our planet. Trust me, I’m so thankful to Simon(?that name pops up in me stoney cabeza) as we have to deal with this all the time. Good Stuff. I spy a local Toyota up top.

EDIT: Forgot the best part! So the Fire Chief tells us he has to stop the presentation when the turbine fired up. So we’re all watching the chopper wind up, and then ALL OF A SUDDEN…the chopper lifts super quick like and is gone in seconds. That caused ALL OF US to wow out loud. And that’s when he turned around and told us he was the pilot.

That dude can fly a chopper like a champion. Would be interesting to shoot the breeze with that hombre.

 

A few of the ones I saw yesterday

 

First time seeing one in person, I like the color but there was a lot of little details that made me feel like Toyota missed the mark on.

 

Not going to lie, I like the exterior look of 4th gen but the idea of spending 50k+ markup steers me away.

this one wasn’t so bad, I think it was $45k plus $1750 for some ceramic coating if I remember correctly. But still that tiny back window is odd and the rear passenger windows look small too and make the truck look like an access can at first glance imo.
