Surprising. Not laughing. I would assume a day most people are generally off work would be a prime day to be open as a car dealer, but maybe I am wrong.

I absolutely would have assumed they'd be open. Sunday is a different story though. I lived in a place in WV where everything was closed on Thursdays for no real good reason, so anything is possible.

Saw my first ever 2024 Off Road today, and then the vehicle carrier pulled up with several more Tacos. I would say it is happening.

Curious to see if they began to accumulate on lots. My local dealer now has two Tacomas and a a bijillion Tundras that for whatever reason just do not sell. I think the high price of the new Tacoma is going to be an issue for many.

    DING DING....We have a winner!!

And 3% under INVOICE give you a totally different pricing dynamic for comparison. It would put that Lariat mentioned above about $43,800 plus $1595 destination so..around 45,395

There is hope, since in some areas the Tundras are not selling, I think there is some invoice and below invoice pricing going on.

I’m thinking this is exactly what is going to happen. G4 Tacos are going to be stockpiled like US military aircraft were in 1946.

Make sure you post a copy of your sales receipt when you get 3% under invoice. While I'm sure some people have gotten that kind of deal I don't think it is very common.

How many Ford dealers do you order trucks with? Granger Ford is just one of them that will set ya up with under invoice pricing.

None. I'm just asking for one sales receipt or even a written offer for 3% under invoice.

I'm sure you can find one soon enough, a quick search of Granger Ford under invoice yields an afternoons worth of reading about deals as recent as 2023. Once you get out of Toyota's world of car buying, invoice and under invoice buying is not all that un common. ( I'm not buying a mid-size truck anytime soon)

The Tundras are going for invoice in some places now too, so I would imagine once the lots get stocked you will see some invoice pricing on Tacomas as well.

Sounds like you have to give Granger a non-refundable $1,000 deposit and then wait 4-6 months for delivery. You do get a great deal but that's not how most people buy cars. Also, they only take 1K off of F150 Raptors. Don't think you will get a Ranger Raptor at much of a discount.

Brother in law just picked up a Maverick hybrid last week, I sat in it and it's not bad for what it is.

Thats unfortunate on your experience with them, the car market was a hot mess and even hotter with a hot model. As the market normalizes, the deals will be out there and available again...I'm sure Toyota dealers will still be hanging on to markups or MSRP for dear life though..lol

I find it funny how many people didn't notice how odd it was that car dealers were so happy and proud that they could sell cars for MSRP the last few years...

More people than you think learned how to order cars and wait for them the past couple/three years. 1K off a Raptor is great considering someone just recently was saying you will never get a discount on a Raptor...lol... Thanks for looking that up.

I have the same complaint about my 2nd-gen. Two more inches in height front and back would be perfect. I sneaked out with one of the cushions from the good couch in the living room (sssshhhhhhh) I'm about 6' tall and the cushion was about 3" thick. The difference was dramatic: especially the view out and over the front and to the sides. No issues working/reaching the pedals, and the arm-resting on the door sill was just fine! No issue with the headroom either. All it really needs is a 6-way manual adjust seat.

The 4th gens don't sit at all near me, they are in and out in no time. Too new of a truck and too few available, the Off Road I just looked at is already gone.

Tundras on the other hand are pilling up, which I am sure is mainly because they are too much money. We can say a Tacoma is too much but it is still more affordable than a Tundra, so I think we will be waiting quite a while for any type of accumulation.

Here ya go! Took delivery June of 2022. Also got $3,500 in rebates that came off this price. So just over 15% off MSRP.

Did you trade your '22 F150 for your '22 OR MT Lunar Rock or do you have both?

When I got the Tremor I had it for about 2 months, and a guy offered me $60,000. Then it got me thinking how much it was worth. Found a dealer in Dallas who bought it from me for $66,000. I couldn’t say no to a $13,000 (after I paid taxes) profit. So sold it and got the Tacoma.

    Nice!

    1. How long did it take to get the Tremor after you ordered it?

    2. Which do you like better?
