My neighbor has a Texaco sign similar to that next to his shop, I'll get a pic next time I remember. That could be awhile

 

Welp, UMaine lost to B.U. Last night, which put us in 3rd in hockey east. Guess I’m rooting for B.C. tonight!!

 

Pulled the plastic up

 

Round 2 of prototyping my Bird and Trout style knife. I modeled the “hollow ground” bevel with a 14” diameter with the center line offset down 1/8” of an inch. This allows me to keep the edge thickness around 0.010” but get more meat sooner up the bevel. And I made the tip a traditional flat bevel. Slicey and strong.

 

Headboard is dun! In place...for now... May be getting an entirely different bed...

We have a monster wooden thing screwed to the wall with a mirror and 1/2 dozen shelves plus a wide one under the mirror.

Mrs Green puts miscellaneous knicky-knacky junk *cough*
pleasant & homey items there to display.

... and I occasionally bang my head on the damn thing.

So I guess we both get use out of it.
