Thought you vette fans would like this our owner is clearing space in his climate-controlled shop cough cough so these was put in our used car inventory I was the one that got to service it and also put in a new battery in it what a joy replacing the battery was lol. I guess it is pretty rare like only 3000 1990 ZR1’s were made very clean this one was bought new in Colorado it only has 4,922 miles on it our CFO has been driving it he needs to put 7500 miles on before we can sell it here in California.

Sorry for the crappy cellphone pics:eek:

Nice. One of my friends dad just got one of the C6 ZR1s. I've yet to see it though.

No, he is correct. Chevy recently made a c6 zr1. It's a supercharged version of the z06 producing around 625 hp.

The guy traded his Z06 in and got the ZR1.

    Yeah, I know about them.

I don't know I am off for the next 10 days so when I get back I will see what we are asking.

California law prohibits importing and/or registering a new
vehicle (one with less than 7,500 miles at the time of purchase)
unless it meets or is exempt from California Emission standards.

I dont want to sound like a know-it-all, but the ZR1 is a long way from a supercharged Z06. Not even the same block, totally different drivetrain, suspension, brakes, just about everything really.

That 1990 should catch a pretty good premium! I dont remember the specifics right now, but they only made the ZR1 for a short period in the C4 generation. maybe 89-92...ish.

Well the original sticker price was like around $100k, but I think GM changed it to the mid 100s. I'm pretty sure my friends dad got it for around sticker, because he bought it from a friend at a dealer, and he also bought the Z06 that he traded in from the same guy.

challenger isn't in the same performance or price category as the ZR1.

Thats a sweet ride! My moms boy friend said the other day he was going to try and snatch one up. He just got rid of his C6 and i guess is having some remorse

What king of C6? Base (Z51?) or Z06? Either way, getting a ZR1 is sure to get him over the remorse of selling his other one!
