What’s the advantage of that over the oem one?

Yep, easier on the knees, and the aluminum is much nicer than the corrugated plastic that comes OEM, both for sliding cargo in as well as just sitting on. IMHO, it also looks way better.

You will really like that addition, I got just a cheap one and it makes loading, crawling into the bed or just sitting on it 100x nicer!

If I may.....I would like to thank everyone who read my post. Beleive it or not, I received more Birthday wishes from this post than I did from the whole 5 Birthday cards I received on my Birthday.
As to a question I got, the mud flaps are Weathertech. That was a year ago when I got the truck. I tried getting the flaps from Toyota. The parts guy said that because I have an SR, my truck does not have the add on fender flairs that other models have. Therefore, the flaps won't fit. Oh Well!!!!! Other than that, everything I have bought has fit.
Thanks again!!!!! This is the best forum on the Net!!!!!

If it was my truck I wouldn’t. You just debadged it just to put that graphic badge on it. In the end it’s what you like best since it’s yours.

So I've restarted my build after selling my last Tacoma.

On today's agenda, I met up with Master Yota and I had the OTT tune flashed onto my truck. Its totally worth it for the gear hunting alone. I ended up going with the lite/mild tune. The truck shifts so much better after this tune. It's almost as if before the transmission felt confused as to when to shift. Now it shifts confidently. The mild I got programmed to ECT. It's pretty awesome. I can see why some opt for it as their primary. Definitely better throttle response.

    Cheers.

I got my patch today! I was reluctant, but so far im very happy with the performance and behavior of the tune. I went with the lite/mild. I could see going with mild/medium, but for everyday driving I think lite/mild is the way to go.

You need to remove some wee plastic inserts from the RAV4 knobs first….becomes clear when you go to put them on.
