I routinely get 40-50 more miles than the estimate at fill-up. Initially I go 2 miles for a 1 mile drop in "range". Eventually the "remaining" magically matches the "3 gallons left" time ... go figure!

Yeah, they posted something about it in their thread. KDMax Pro 10.0 has been great and it’s pretty refined. It’s the biggest single factor in my decent fuel economy. Haven’t tried OTT but did I hear they just got CARB certified. I tried one other one and it detonated terribly and had to haggle to get a refund. “You could still use the map after the refund.” “Bro, I’m going to run your shit map when it audibly detonates under light load.”
Upgrade to Pro 10.0 if they are still selling it. Big, noticeable difference and I’ve been running KDMax since like 5.0.

I routinely run my truck down to 0 miles left on the range and the warning light switches from "refuel soon" to just plain "REFUEL" and Ive never run out of gas. Ive gone as far as 10 miles past the final warning when everything said it was empty and on 0 and never had an issue. Never even a hint of pump struggling. It helps to have 10 gallons of fuel in jerry cans on the back bumper at all times though, you stop caring about running out hahaha. Ive done over 400 fill ups and have hand calculated every single one since brand new. Fully armored, plate bumpers, 37s with stock gears, always 91 octane with kdmax tune from like 3 years ago Ive averaged about 17mpg over the life of the truck.

I have the wheels/tires that came on my 23 TRD Sport (set of 4). They were on the truck for about 3K miles. What would be a fair price to ask for them?

To sell quick $500-600, maybe $800-1000 if you're patient imo
Probably best to just take a look at marketplace and see where everyone else is posted at.

Before I got the wheels I have now I would just buy TRD Offroad take offs instead of buying new tires, never spent more than $500-600 but I had to wait for that deal to show up sometimes. Would sell the old bald set for like $300-400 too and get basically brand new tires for $200 :hattip:

Luke AFB is having an air show this weekend, and today was the practice, only open to those of us with base access. It’s still a full air show, just less people. It was cool as hell, I just hung out with my wife in the medical tent all afternoon.

Air shows are definitely one of the things I miss about being in the Navy fighter community...

Don't fuck up like I did because apparently mounted tires turn trash into gold. Take-off tires from my SR5P 4Runner sit on FB for weeks at $200 and you can't give the wheels away but when sold mounted for $450, it's apparently worth about 30 hits in 8 hours.

Honestly this kind of stuff doesn't sell for what it used to since Toyota started installing all seasons on the OR trims.

Yeah seems like similar to ffl transfers, shops are jacking up mounting cost to price out the competition

I’m an idiot and really trashed my driver door today. I don’t want to go through my insurance and raise my rates. Anybody know the best place to buy the parts?

Without tires you gotta find someone who just wants the wheels, which for takeoffs is a pretty limited market. With tires it becomes a cheap solution for needing new tires instead of dropping $1k on just new tires

Switched over to Youtube but no sound because (1) drone footage and (2) I used copyrighted music originally.

Dude it's wild how not steep Baby Lion's back looks from a drone, but when you're in there you're braced against the wheel just trying not to lock the wheels and slide down.

Didn’t work for me. I’ve found YouTube to be the most reliable video sharing site for TW.
