For anyone that has a 3d printer looking through this. A great spot to put the auxbeam would be in the wireless charging area. So whoever has the 3d printer get to work lol

I was just gifted one for a late Christmas gift. Never done any wiring so hopefully I can find some help here.

I just got the 8 gang (non app/Bluetooth). I read through all the pages and it seems like everyone is connecting it via fuse box. Does anyone know how I can connect it so I can set some lights to turn on when I unlock/open the door? Ideally, I would love to have it set where the rock lights will turn on when the door opens or I unlock it. Do I need to connect it straight to the battery?

Don't think you can do that straight up with an auxbeam.

I have a 8 gang Auxbeam that I'm planning to install. Can anyone post pics of where you are running the wiring through the firewall, from the engine compartment? I've heard to cut a small hole near the factory wiring loom that is running into the cab. Any info, suggestions are needed. Thanks TW

Yeap it’s just the regular grommet. Just poke a hole through it with a screw driver. That black wire belongs to my aux beam.

The red wire is my add a fuse for the aux beam panel located in the engine bay. My key needs to be turned for the auxbeam to get juice.

Thanks for the pic. Is there any chance of getting a pic of the grommet from the engine bay? That's what I'm looking for. Take care

It’s just against the firewall on the driver side. Not my personal pic tho so you won’t see my wires going in it.

just slice a small x on the side of it with a razor then poke a screw driver through. Just be careful not to stab the harness. Some people like to silicone after to keep water out but I’ve never had any water leak through there.

Hey there - I recently installed my 8 gang Auxbeam switch (my quick post here: What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?) - I don't have any lights hooked up to it yet.

Just curious: Are there any long term reviews ie. a year (or longer) of usage? The price is so much cheaper than an Spod or SwitchPro, I'm wondering if the quality is that much cheaper/inferior as well?

There was an Auxbeam dealer (? Marshbuster) on this thread but haven't seen a post in a while.

    LOL - hi!

Are you still an Auxbeam dealer? Would you mind if I ask you a couple of questions?

Thanks - I'm not sure if you will know the answer to this, and I'm truly asking out of ignorance, not trying to stir up any beef. I'm new to all this stuff.

    1. CaliRaisedLED versus Auxbeam switch boxes - The CaliRaised version looked EXACTLY like the older Auxbeam version (ie. with two banks of relays, covered by transparent covers) - Are they in fact the same? Did Auxbeam manufacture them for CaliRaised, or are they manufactured by some other company that resells to CR and Auxbeam? When I started researching switch boxes a few months ago, I was surprised to see they looked exactly the same.

    2. As for as you know, are there any differences with the solid state relays in the Auxbeam switch boxes versus Spod/Switch Pros? I have the latest one with RGB and BT, with redesigned cover etc, and the switch box feels quite heavy duty. I was quite impressed.

I haven't seen the Caliraised version so I wouldn't be able to comment on that. I am not really familiar with the Spod version either.
