Just curious as to shipping times.
I ordered on a Sunday night, Oct 15th.
As per the email I received confirming my order I will receive another email once my item ships, as of today I haven't received anything and the SHOP tracking app that the email prompted me to download doesn't really tell me anything.

luk8272, this is the wrong thread for the Group buy sale going on for which you participated. This is why the current price was as low as it is. In the email it says this is dependent on the group buy and having others participate. Once people have entered the group buy, I will be able to put in the order to get the discount to the CNC shop. Sorry if you were under the impression they were already in stock. See this thread instead

Thanks for the heads up! I just followed the link from the 1st post here then continued with the website. I'm in no rush I just wanted to make sure I didn't slip through any cracks, I was basing my info off of my emails. I'll read up on the thread you just sent.
    Thanks

    just installed mine
Can’t find instructions. Sent XTP an email.

wouldn’t think it’s needed for something this basic though I’m curious to see their take on it.

feels like more low end power.

that being said this is not a complaint. Maybe not even a concern. More of a question.
How do folks feel about the intake mounting bolts

because it appears with the spacer, the factory bracket bolts don’t line up to work any more.
Instead of 3 bolts holding down the lower and upper intake on the top and side (or more) you end up with a lot less.

I’ll double check everything but as far as I’m aware due to the heightened position, for example instead of 3 bolts, my upper intake is secured with only 1 bolt now.

edit: watching this to see what this guy did:
-slotting bottom of manifold support brackets to make them fit
-home made plastic spacer to allow for re-use of bolt at passenger side front corner of manifold
^video says IM spacer is 1/2" thick, so I'm guessing a home made plastic spacer for intake (above) could be chosen of also that size, 1/2"
Maybe I’ll stack washers until it looks good there or take a measurement
Then get a spacer of that size

That’s my vid :thumbsup:I used a small spacer, maybe 1/4” because the oem bolt is short. If you get a longer bolt you can use a taller spacer and make it really level.

    Just got their instructions
I see the part now about notch the bracket stays to fit

will probably get a longer bolt from Home Depot and see if they have spacers of any kind

hopefully the gap is easy to measure and not the intake wobbling giving a false reading

If so, local hardware store sells small DOM metal tubing that if it fits the bolt, can be cut to length to be a spacer

I had @greenEFSI do the gear can exhaust and xtp intake manifold mods on my 2015. Once he did those I had the overland tune done. About 600 miles later (right on the queue as Gio mentioned-time for the computer to learn) the truck drives amazing!. Another thing I noticed is that my trucks gas usage has become better at just about stock and that’s with 295’s tires and a lift. Very happy with the mods and Gios work. I would highly recommend the xtp.

Have you done a smog check with those mods? I am up for mine and currently have the truck at a buddies shop getting an overhaul on it. He installed the gears and spacer and said no codes popped up. He's going to take it in for my smog check, we'll see what the outcome is. If all works out...next will be the overland tune.

No, not yet. My understanding is that there should not be an issue with smog.

Yes, experience has shown the cam gears do not affect whether you pass smog. It's not visible so the visual test is moot. Emissions-wise, it doesn't not trigger any violations.

IN spacer should also pass smog (visual) unless you anodized it hot pink or something that really sticks out. It doesn't affect emissions, etc.

@greenEFSI is God-level for the cam gears installs.

    DOM?

Bro, if that’s not overkill idk what is. I just turned a rubber bumper down to size and used a longer SS bolt.

I made my own brackets for the surge tank because my spacer is 18mm.

Also have the retarded cam gears & OTT tune. I installed everything 4 years ago. The improvement was immediate, there’s no relearn for these mods.

I just hope using DOM isn’t a problem because it’s straight metal.
Should be $8 max. Maybe $5 or less.

I’d have no issue using a plastic type of spacer from Home Depot but that’s if they even have it.
The hardware section is generally jumbled or empty

used the same thing on my IEDLS ford ranger poly carrier bearing to space it out; those DOM sleeves. Seems to work.
Just wish I painted or powder coated them and the u shaped holder that came with it (bare metal) as now they’ve rusted and look ugly.
Might just mark location, take it off, sand, spray rust converter paintable surface, black, and slap it back on.

I found the hardware sections at both the orange and blue stores to be terrible. Just go to Ace or Wilco. I also have a local nuts & bolts store which is awesome.

do you know what the spacer dimensions are and/or IM spacer?

I think the IM spacer is 1/2” but not sure

thought I heard 1” somewhere but after looking at the gap at my front bolt
No way the gap is 1”
    1/2” or less

    anyway
Saw plastic washers at Lowe’s but no spacers.

then got the idea and tried something out
    See the rubber bushing?

if you pull it out and slide it underneath
    -it becomes a spacer
    -squished
    -moveable to thread bolt in
-sleeve still clears under the manifold

so that might be another (free) way to do it
Leaving just grind the passenger side brackets = total bolt fit cost $free.99 no trip to store

For the “bushing” longer bolt will probably find one in my bolts bin
