    265/70r17 Goodyear Ultra Terrains on FN FX Pros, which i think are 0mm offset with 4.5" backspacing.

    I have a bfg AT 285/70/17 under there, tiny space between tire and exhaust but all good. didnt have to bend anything

    I also ran a BFG KO2 285/70/17s underneath before moving to backdoor of the camper.

    My buddy runs the same size but KM3s and they fit underneath too.

    The spare is on a a oem aluminum 17" wheel. on the truck I have KMC 's 17" 0 offset

    Why would the type of wheel in the middle matter? The diameter and thickness of the tire around the wheel is what dictates the space available to mount. Any wheel that fits the Tacoma hub bore will mount underneath just like the stock spare.

    I had a full size BFG KO2 275/70/70 at 40 psi mounted to a Vision Manx II 17x9 +12mm offset in the stock spare location of my rig. I have heard others say that 285s fit without issue and anything larger than 285s would need to be aired down to fit. No experience with 285s + so take what I heard with a handful of pink Himalayan.
