Cool, I appreciate the info. I’m not sure what other tires you have run but would you describe the road noise as the same as an all terrain tire? Or closer to a mud tire? I’ve read as many reviews as I can find and some people call them quiet and others say they are pretty loud.

I went with 255/75/17, dont have them mounted yet but seemed like the best/safest option to avoid any chopping/rubbing and E rated tires.. almost went with 285/70/17 because my dad was taking them off his jeep but didn’t want to gamble with rubbing and mpgs

Yeah mickeys in general seem to be a little louder than other brands. If a aggressive tire last a long time then the rubber has to be pretty hard which is more likely to be louder than a soft compound that wears out quickly.

I went with 275/70/17. Had to do some minor plastic trimming/cleared the cab mount by a 1/2". Trimmed the mudflaps and don't know if it was nessesary but did the pinch weld mod. Avoided a cmc, regear, and minimized power and mpg loss.

Good call! I’m leaning towards the 275/70R17 also. What wheels did you go with? Can’t make it out from the pic.

Rubbed that black plastic part hanging down in front of tires and mud flaps. Ended up getting the mud flaps back on with some creative trimming in front of cab mounts.

You most likely have 285/70/17 if they are "C". BFG does not show 285/75/17 in anything other than "E". Shop All Terrain T/A KO2 Tires | BFGoodrich Tires I have had then a couple years but truck does not get driven a lot. Discount also shows 285/75/17 only in a 121S "E" load rating.

How do you like those RT Trails. This is one of the tires that I'm looking at next.

ill have to go double check now, but they are 285/75 17, requested a load range C tire, so if they are E rated would explain why the truck seems extra sluggish.

Love the look... knew it was my next tire the minute i saw them. The road noise is hardly noticable... handling is great. Did good in snow in 4WD... little dicey in 2WD. Be sure to start slowing down early on ice coming down a hill to a stop.... they aren't winter snow rated so keep that in mind. Went up from bfg a/t E rated 265/75/16... no noticable loss of power even towing boat up to lake at 6,000'.
