Rainy night, rainy morning. Slept like a baby though. This was a great campsite.

I think the rain chased them off

just wait a couple days and it'll take care of itself.

all the snow we got on Friday was melted by the afternoon (about 3-4")

Nice! My buddy has a place on Gasparilla Island/Boca. Every time we go down we get on the water for a few times with a local guide (they've been using him forever). If you want the info for an absolutely amazing guide down there, let me know. Tarpon, Sharks, snook, redfish, grouper, whatever your heart desires (well pending the time of year also).

Are you TWARKers lingering around in tornado country?
Looks like some tornadoes are in the forecast.
I'll take wet sloppy snow and let it melt over tornadoes.

Once you play in the rocks and dry creek beds, there's no going back. Flat Nasty just down the road is the same way too with all dry creek bed trails.

I'd be interested. I'd like to do some offshore fishing, and we're really not experienced in that. Plus, we're really not set up properly.

I'm starting to figure out the sharks a little. I changed my presentation at the end of the day and caught those two within 5 minutes of each other. But, it would be good to learn how the pros handle them.

Rained all day yesterday. Made for some very spicy crossings. Dave gave me a double bird at one point as he had to get homes self across Little Piney Creek. I had a bow wave half way up my hood on one crossing. Scared the sheet out of me. Had to do it twice to get back…
