i'm 6'0 and I don't think its that terrible. It's worse than just about every other truck, but its no more shitty than sitting in any other compact car.

 

Yep. I’m 5’11” and 185# so not the smallest dude. I fit like a glove and find front seat very comfortable, even on a 10.5 hour drive.

 

I would see what lease deals are out on domestics…Ranger etc. thrash it up and down our mud road, plow with it (hitch mount) and toss the keys when done and hope Tacoma’s have a little cash back. My 2019 has 19k for miles, so a lease would work.

 

I'm considering a 2024 Pro 4X. Reason being, the V6, they are going for $40-45k, the looks, the cool colors. There seems to be a ton of 2024s on the lots right now, which should equate to nice discounts. Obviously, I would take a hit on resale compared to a Tacoma. I just feel like its the last chance to continue to getting a V6 in a mid size truck. I'm also not sold on the 4th Gen Taco looks...I'm sure it'll grow on me though.

EDIT: Also, my observation is that the Nissan finance rate for frontier is 3.9% for 60 months, vs the Toyota financial rate of 8.45% for 60 months.

 

The parts issue is real. On my 2007 Titan, so much stuff has been discontinued by Nissan. I only repair my machines with OEM, so it's getting harder to keep my 2007 in top condition when the very rare issue pops up.

I also had a 2014 Q60, and before it was a decade old I was running into OEM parts discontinuation.

Weird because I can still get most OEM parts for my son's 2003 Acura TL.

Kinda worried about my new Pro-4x, seeing as how Nissan just discontinued the Titan.

Really hate new vehicles, not as easy to keep in excellent condition past a decade of ownership....

 

Don't know what year you had, but the ac in my 2007 Titan has never let us down.

When our 2020 Corolla HB went into limp mode due to electric water pump failure, all of the Toyota fanboys on Toyota Nation forums jumped my shit for talking down on Toyota for stupidly using an electric water pump on their most reliable nameplate.

After seeing how many issues the newest Tundra has, I'm pretty confident in owning a new Pro-4x Titan. Takes regular weight oil, no turbos, no gas particulate filters, no spun bearings, no leaking door seals, no self destructing trim pieces.....

 

Group buy Pro 4X Titans? I’m in.

 

Frontiers and altimas will be made until Nissan's last dying breath lol.

 

Don’t worry about parts on the frontier, Nissan is selling a good amount of them, we have them at work , they are good trucks . Even the older ones we had , they all ran north of 200 k miles . Some issues here and there , locking hubs , radiator , brakes , struts . Nothing major . I think they have a good selling hit even more now . People want simple old school stuff more then everyone thinks .

I really like that Nissan and could see myself buying it if the Tacoma didn't exist.

 

Im guessing that yalls legs are angled up more and maybe putting more on your feet? IDK, but for me right where the actual seat of the seat ends, it seems to strain my leg. Just my left one mostly. Ive been readjusting leg postition etc, but it still gets me every now and then.

edit: shouldnt say putting more on your feet necessarily, but the leg rests/sits in a different way.

 

This dude might be as annoying as Kilmer. Maybe more.
