Mine originally had a Warn 9.5 XP which is a badass winch but pricy. That winch has since been pulled out and put in my Ranger. Currently this has a VR8-S Which is a great Budget winch option. However currently they are under a recall for the wireless remote being not as waterproof as they hoped. I would just wait until they get that fixed then pick up that one. They work great the 8K is strong enough to pull out a 1st gen from just about anything and a double line pull will take care of the rest.

I had Toyota coils on when this went on with bilstein 5100s in the second setting. Over time I did get sag but they also were at 275K miles and were very sad. Now I have the lightest ARB Coils, I believe its the 884s in the lowest bilstein setting and its a perfect set up for the 2.7 with the arb and winch.

Hello, does anyone know the part number or name for those square nuts that are inserted into the brackets?

I just bought used bumper and previous owner used regular hex nuts, very difficult to fit a socket/wrench to tighten or loosen. Which is probably why ARB designed those special nut inserts in the first place, I just can't find them online anywhere... Would prefer not to order the whole kit for $100+ when all I need is 6 inserts

Thank you very much, I just ordered them. What about the long vertical bolts with the sleeve? Maybe I'll just run to ace and find something similar

Took me hours to finally pin them down at 1AM last night (I almost started welding in the 6 regular nuts just so it stays permanent lol). For future reference to others, the ARB part number is 6151304 - M10 Nut Caged. I'm pretty sure they're 1.50 pitch threads

Edit: Those cage nuts were a PITA to stay in place because I was dead lifting the bumper by myself and they keep falling off in the process and no way to get them back in place without dismounting the bumper again x3 lol. I ended up welding 3 hex nuts onto the brackets permanently to mount them on in place, hopefully no regret later.

Ya'll trust the recovery points on the bumper? I know ARB is a legendary off-road brand but the stock tow hook points seem much stronger with two vertical non-threaded bolts vs a plate bumper mount onto 2 brackets by 6 bolts, i guess the plate would shear off first before the bolts fail...
