Has anybody compared geolanders to wild peaks in person. According to Yokohama website the geolander is 1/2” narrower than the wild peak?

Would someone be willing to measure to the fenders (front and rear) that has a 2.5” lift in front, AAL in back and 285/75/17 tires? I’m trying to figure out if I’ll clear my garage door. Thanks!

I've seen a handful of people here running JBA's with .75-1" spacers on 0 offset wheels to fit this lovely tire size, anybody have any luck clearing JBA UCA's with a 17x8.5 -12 wheel (seems like the equivalent to a .5" Spacer on a 0 offset wheel)? I checked JBA's website to get a rough estimate and based on the 35x12.5 tire needing 4.25" BS the 4.28" BS from a -12 seems as though it should?

Wellllllll, after reading this thread for a month or so I finally pulled the trigger on a set of Geolandar MTs in 285/75/17 with some 17x8 0 offset wheels. Currently on the same tires in a 285/75/16 on stock TRD OR wheels with spacers, and 6112s up front. I seem to have a ton of space with the current setup and I've already done a CMC and pinch weld, plus a little cutting. I think I should be ok with the 0 offset, tire is nowhere near my UCA (Camburg). Cant wait!

I have the same tires/wheels on Fox 2.0 with a JBA uca at 4.5 caster on my 2021. Now I just need to heat gun, but it's low priority right now.

I just noticed your front fender tire cutout. That's slick as shit. I love how that looks like it was meant to be there and how completely subtle it is. Did you experience any issues with the cut? Do you have a template or just mapped it out in erasable ink?

Put these on 2 days ago. 2” lift, 0 offset methods, stock uca. Cab mount chop has been done. Tires will rub a tiny bit up front but nothing to worry about. Caster is set at 3. They get close to to Uca but don’t rub.

Thanks bro I wish they come with V-Cut from factory looks way nicer IMO. No issues at all, did it with a friend using a Dremel and some tape to mark the line. Also used windlace on the trimmed edge for that clean look.

What gear set is everyone running? 4:88 or 5:29. I’m stock apart from jba’s, nitto 285/75/17’s but plan on getting a leer shell and towing potentially a small boat or one jetski.

You’d be right. I am specifically running JBA’s with .75 bora’s to fit my 17x8 0 offset. I’ve already rubbed the paint off the UCA in one spot until I added the spacers. JBA should update to have the proper specs for 285/75/17.

EDIT: I only rubbed at full lock in reverse, which I wasn’t going to put up with long term. So I added the spacers to get over it.

Anyone running 285/75’s on 4runner trail wheels? My friends selling me a set, I wanna know if I gotta cut the cab mount. He’s got Nitto Terra grapplers on them. So with it being a a/t tire shouldn’t be too bad? Currently got a 2” lift. Ran 285/70 Nitto trail grapplers on 17x8.5 +0 methods no problem. So tryna see how much of a difference 285/75 would be.
