I mentioned this, where more throttle input is required on 1st, but nothing that you won't get accustomed to quickly! Enjoy!

yeah, for sure. just trying to provide input for the developers and others reading. i think personally, having tried both, I will flash back to the WW version. The throttle input lag is too much of a draw back even though I think there are alot of other aspects of the AD tune that I like better.

Definitely will try it again in the future if it gets tweaked.

So I did my do diligence and went back a couple pages, didn’t see a new release or patch. Did you guys find the fix for the 04C21 stutter problem with the AT yet?

I've been a YotaWerx customer for nearly 4 years and to this day I have no reason to seek the Tuning services of any other provider. Not once have I been disappointed with any tune provided or the service provided by Marc or his team. I am confident that (@mZiggy) Marc and those on this team, including Kreg, will continue to develop and produce quality Tunes for our Tacoma's (NA and SC). I fully get that some individuals will want to try Tunes from other providers - If you are that dissatisfied with any providers product just cut the cord and move on. Hopefully the "other" provider will keep you happy, meet all of your expectations, and deliver on their regulatory promises. l remain a customer of YotaWerx and have no reason or persuasion to change. GL.

+1 for YotaWerx and their SC tune. Another happy customer and I have had great support along the way from folks like Marc and Matt. I’ve been through a few tunes as I upgraded the truck. Originally OVT, then Magnuson’s awful tune, then a couple versions of YW. Truck is still running great and I'm glad there are power-nerds out there that can figure this stuff out.

Friendly, unsolicited advice from a random person you don’t know:
If you’re typing comments in TW and your blood pressure is going up, take a step back and look at the big picture. This is a forum where enthusiasts learn to improve their vehicle, it’s not that serious.

If you have a problem with your tune, please don't shitpost this thread. Reach out to the tuners involved for a solution.

@3GTCMLMTD , good morning, and very mature sir. I respect the level of dedication that is required to commit to do this on multiple YotaWerx representatives' respective Facebook business pages (more than just the couple shown below). :hattip:You are tenacious indeed.

I apologize for your impression that your calibration is full of bugs. If you would like to see resolution on this matter, please follow this thread for updates as they are made available. Thank you for your patience.

I’d just give him a refund to shut him up. Clowns like that RC Cola tuning are parroting this idiots sentiments about the “bug” all over the big Tacoma Facebook group to just shit on the tune for the sake of it being a competitor.

My apologies, I don’t know any of the people involved personally but I felt the need to speak up… again. Also no clue what’s happened over on Facebook but I’m assuming it wasn’t awesome.

I’ll go out on a limb here and suggest that the dudes at YW and VFT probably aren’t making a huge amount of money selling the software and tune files. These people had the skillset to build something marketable (and far better IMHO) with far fewer resources at hand than the engineering department at Toyota. Impressive work.

Unfortunately one loud jerk has shouted over a quiet majority of happy customers out driving their trucks everyday without complaint. The nerve of this dude to go after other folk’s livelihood because he wasn’t completely satisfied. Odd because the OEM tune is so bad it’s hard for me to understand his disappointment. Not sure what he sees that I didn’t but to each his own.

Back to the big picture, absolutely none of this constitutes real necessity… how far up Maslow’s hierarchy of needs is an ECU tune for your pickup truck? So your truck tune makes you sad. Be grateful you have the resources to try to address it.

@3GTCMLMTD, you bought a product that most folks here are quite happy with. It’s a real shame you didn’t like it. Know that your experience is not a common one. It’s weird, every time I’ve asked for help on TW, people come out of the woodwork to assist or offer information. You seem to be getting a very different result. Take a break, remember that this is a hobby, and rethink how you interact with other enthusiasts. If it’s really important to you, figure out how to build something better instead of trying to destroy what others have built.

    Off rant.

To the YW and VFT wizards, good on you for having the passion to continue to tweak and refine your product. Keep up the great work!

You said what many others have been thinking. Just a gremlin, troll would be too nice.

They have helped out in any way necessary when I’ve have even a small problem. Will continue to support going forward. Thanks again YW

Jeremy brought me his 2015 Tacoma TRD Sport today. I tuned his son's 2005 a bit ago, and he was impressed with the outcome and wanted the same for his truck. Got him setup right with the YotaWerx Tuning Blackhawk Active Duty tune for naturally aspirated Tacomas! Thank you Jeremy for trusting ADK Tuners with your tuning needs! Don't hestitate to reach out if you need anything in the future, sir.

IMG_7629.jpg We met with with Alex -2019 Tacoma 2.7L AT and Jeff- 2020 4Runner AGM battery and ‘overlanded’. Yotawerx and Quad State Tune were able to flash the proper tune for each to have their rigs performing optimally. It was a pleasure meeting/talking with you both. Give us a call (484) 633-5975 if you’re in the Susquehanna Valley. We’ll have you scheduled and tuned expeditiously.

As a customer and tuner I won’t make the unfortunate mistake again of saying or implying “patience” while they work through it. But, I will say the results will be worth the wait…
