For me it pops to much haha it's gotta have some color or at least have the Kx logo on it so it's not to much sticking out!

I typically use a Baxley on it for routine maintenance, but when I’m pulling the front wheel and forks, I switch it back. Only takes a few minutes. I think it was year 5 before I removed that clamp from the bubble wrap. It’s also MUCH safer to load a bike with a proper wheel chock on there. 66960371565__3920855A-679B-42A8-A77C-77241A489946.jpg

I'll have to adjust the headlight but id say it's got a good light cut off unlike before!

10/10 very nice family photo

in an effort to keep the bike red, maybe start off with pink helmet pink goggles pink gloves, enough pink gear and your little ripper might forgive you for overlooking the pink plastics :angrygirl:

The Grom is not a very good snowmobile. Just loaded it on the truck to head for hopefully warmer weather in Calgary. I've finished with all the mods I had planned for the winter. Here's the list
    - Kenda 761's
    - Koso Hurricane Intake
    - Kitaco Clutch Cover
    -Takegawa Hi Flo oil pump
    - Tail Tidy and Turn Signals
    - Pro Circuit T6 Exhaust
    - DHM Throttle Body adapter
    - CJR Cam
    - ECU Flash

I bet I'm making 11 horsepower now. I can feel the arm pump already.

Well as usual I procrastinated on the 2000 vfr800 that I was interested in. I finally made the decision yesterday to hit the guy up to see if he still had it. Unfortunately I missed it by one day.
That has happened too many times. I am just having a hard time weighing all the pros and cons, price , distance travel to bike and doing a bunch of YouTube videos on the bike. I guess I need to be better prepared.
I still have the R3 forsale and would really like to sell that first then buy something. Although I still keep an eye on what’s forsale because if the right bike pops up I will go for it.

What size and kind of bike are you looking for? Purpose? How far are you willing to travel for it? Price range?

Well I am looking for a well maintained stock 600cc sport bike with fuel injection and under $4500 Mileage of bike depends on maintenance records so not scared of 20-30k miles if it’s been taken care of. Purpose would be for a couple track days a year with a bike I wouldn’t fear damage from a low side. Ripping up back roads and a couple trips over to eastern WA
    Mostly just WA state.

Any brand preference? Are you opposed to something Chinese like CFMoto?

Damn, using cycletrader and Seattle as a base and going within 400 miles, there's not jack for sport bikes in the 500-700cc range with a $5K price limit. The only 2 that show up are brand new CFMoto bikes, but after dealer costs I'm sure they'd be well over budget. Still, if you aren't opposed to a CFMoto and willing to travel to Missoula, MT there is a 650NK (I know nothing about them) listed at $4399.

    https://www.cycletrader.com/listing/2022-Cfmoto-650NK-5022443033

If you are willing to do a more adventure seating position then the 650 Adventura in Enumclaw, WA is listed at $4499.

    https://www.cycletrader.com/listing/2022-Cfmoto-650+Adventura-5022968207

On either of those maybe you could see if they can get the OTD down where you want it.

If you are willing to travel more for it the options do open up some, but I totally understand not wanting to travel 2500 miles for a bike.

Lol. That bike doesn't exist. There is no 600 supersport under 4500 going to have acceptable maintenance records. You can get an already track prepped bike for that, but that's another can of worms

Legit question here, what's the difference between a supersport and a sport bike? I've never been into that style, so I truly don't know.

600 is classified as a supersport in road racing. 1000 is classified as superbike. Both are sport bikes.

Ooooh. I see. Always tripped me up because I would see the term supersport in stuff like the forum, but all the manufacturers just list sport bikes. I was so lost on what was what.

Throw naked sport bike in there too.... my personal favorite of the sport bike flavors. (Honda 919, Yamaha MT line etc) Aka hoon machines.

Getting ready to add a 904 big bore kit to my 2014 Thruxton. Getting a head start tearing things down so I can send my cams in for a re-grind before all the parts arrive.

While I’m at it I decided to tackle a bunch of maintenance items like new chain/sprockets, brake lines, and a solid cleaning.
