another way to clean belts or paper is a fireplace brick. diamond blades for example are a combo of steel and diamond. they can get gummed up cutting soft material. finding a stone or such of the correct hardness can clean it up when (dressing) the blade.
other near useless facts- i clean/ tune my tile saw blade by holding my angle grinder perpendicular to the tile blade. (both tools on) with 80 grit sandpaper. creating a square cutting edge on the blade. reduces runout, cleans, and cuts noticably better and straight(er) cuts. a rounded blade surface can have 20% more cutting surface slowing the motor.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind if you could wipeout all the inflation from the last six years!:annoyed:

The CX2510 will still be a good fit for the size of your property.

I don't have a plow for the tractor and the ground was too hard for the tiller to dig in much. So I improvised with the box blade to dig up the ground for a garden. I'll give the tiller another go, hopefully it'll go a little easier now.

i have cement hard dirt im my garden area. we bought a dozen 100gal rubbermaid horse troughs. black plastic wont breakdown/no maintenance. elevated so mole proof, stays warmer earlier to get crops going. 4 years of portable success. just drilled drain holes in bottoms. just an idea.

It would probably be fine but I went from wanting the ck3520 and ck4020 to the ck2620 already. Don’t need the horsepower but I do want the loader capacity.

My aunt did a raised bed the last couple years. I'm trying to keep the cost down but also increase the size of the garden. If I stick with the ground garden, I won't need to buy so much soil.

Any of those Kioti's is a good tractor! I'm partial to my ck4010 & sure KR is to his 35...

Yeah man always another way to do it. Once you have the tines from the box blade bust it up.... A couple passes with the tiller should make that real nice!

Youll find uses for that extra horsepower though!

But really, Ive been happy with our 2610. Only a few times Ive wished I'd gone with something bigger (mostly using pallet forks). I havent done the "mod" to up it to the 35hp as Im under warranty. But itll scoop a full bucket of dirt/gravel just fine.

Went to the Kioti dealership after work today and they had a CX2510 and CK2620. I must say the CX would be the perfect size but the lift capacity is so much more on the CK. :annoyed: Even more confused on which one to get now.

Same motor on both, but way more capability & strength on the CK.

Just watched a dealership YouTube video and it said the CK engine is close to the same as the bigger models just detuned. And the CX engine is a smaller completely different engine and they both have the same horsepower. Guy on the video said they sell the CK2620 the most.
Edit: Boring video but a nice comparison

I'd go with the CX2510. The CX line is not a beefed up lawn mower and nothing says you can't trade up later when your bank account is bigger. Get a good counter weight box and fill the tires, get some pallet forks and you'll be able to lift plenty. If you look back a couple pages at @Kbar's post moving those big tree trunks around with a JD 2025 that is smaller and has less lift capacity than the Kioti CS line. The CX2510 will help you get the work you need done now, without breaking the bank today. The CX tractor will also put the 25hp to better work than it would on the CK. If you need more power you can probably adjust it up a bit more similar to the CK. A comparison of the three Kioti models the CX is not that far off from the CK, but it would be much easier on your wallet right now. That's my .02¢ worth of advice.

The CX really would be the perfect size for day to day work. And that deal you posted from LSE was a really good deal at $250 a month

That's a cool comparison video. The CX has a lot of nice upgrades, to get those on the CK series you have to get the CK2620SE model. That would add about 2+K to the price of the CK. I know you'd like a CK series, heck I'd like a DK series, but cost has to be considered. So I stick with my recommendation for the CX2510. If you can get your local dealer to match the price from LSE, I'd buy it locally. If not, call Mike and see what delivery would cost, or if you have a trailer come and get it.

Edit: For me money is certainly a serious consideration, I posted what I paid for my tractor the other day. At the time I could easily manage the payment, but I was bringing home 30K more a year than I am now. If I were in the market for new tactor today, I'd be buying the CX over the CK because I just don't have as much disposable income to swing another 10k when I think the CX would also get the job done.

    ^^^^^^^^ This is very good.

Like KR...... When I bought my Kioti was still working & had double my current income. So the $800 more I spent on the CK 4010 vs a 2610 wasn't a big deal. Now days? Maybe would look at it harder.

Then again? Look at your work load. I did a LOT of things with a B7200 Kubota & a 2601 that were WAY WAY out of the range for those little tractors. They did it.... But it wasn't really what they were made for.

Same thing on the little tractors with the lightweight frames: They can do way more than what's good for them.

Going the opposite way: the DK series is just too big/heavy for my yard & most of the things I do.
The CK series is too heavy with the counterweight a lot of the times as well.....

As my neighbor points out to me all the time (he has 5 tractors): a small tractor is good for most things, then you ad a big tractor for everything else. :)

Would love to have a Kubota 2920 for day to day stuff & then have this CK4010 for bulk/heavy jobs.

    Toys toys toys. Never enough.
