Keep the pictures coming guys, looks like you are having a great time! That water crossing definitely looks butt-puckering but those foggy mountains and shear cliff views appear to be worth it.

Where are driving? Do you have gpx files you are following or just exploring until you get horribly stuck lol.
My parents live in Springfield MO and I always love cruising some scenic back roads when I visit.

It's Gumby from IH8MUD and his pig. Both of which I miss dearly.

Link to the lengthly build thread that stretches into the new owner today if you were interested in the story on it. Probably the only 2 door pig in existence

Can you share the GPX data?

How do you plan the trip is it just try different things each time hoping for the best or is there a mapping service better than onX that people share routes on?

Just curious because I have been mostly doing the "hoping for the best" route planning.
I've gotten lucky a few times when driving from Springfield to Bentonville finding some pretty back roads, but it would be nice to not have to rely on luck.

@pearing came up with the route. He had been in the area before and knew some of the roads/trails. He had also gotten some info from others familiar with the area. I saved the route off of his shared (for the group on the trip) folder to load to my tablet for the trip. Unfortunately, I'm not there enjoying the route. I'd prefer to not post without his blessing, though.

That's Pat's old rear bumper from before he did the flatbed. Believe he's passing it down to someone in them thar yonder mountains but I don't recall to whom exactly.

I was supposed to pick it up Saturday at SMORR but things are broken and the kiddo takes priority.

Her head looks a lot better though (she hit it/gashed it pretty hard on my tailgate while I was assessing my noticably worse power steering leak)

I figured it was you but I don't read every post super closely so I didn't want to put any quotes out there. Glad to hear your kiddo is doing better, hope you and the trucks are hanging in there too.

Ended up on Avery difficult trail for most of the afternoon. Lots of rock and ledges. Was thwarted by a three footer but we found an optional bypass (although it was ver difficult on its self)

@wi_taco 60 foot falls did not disappoint. Well worth the traffic jam with the SXS users
