Thanks for the welcome! I can see all the health stuff, as usually is the case when older guys get together and chat. 2x cancer survivor here. 7.5 years now. I still off road, train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and ride motorcycles. Stay frisky!

Terrible story unfolding in Baltimore! Hoping for better news to come. There was reportedly a highway repair crew on the bridge at the time.

I really hope that nobody jumps to conclusions about the bridge collapse, grim regardless :fingerscrossed:

    Morning all:

Looks like the ship hit the bridge around 1:30AM, that could have been a whole lot worse if it had happened during rush hr.

Good luck with the ingrown toenail Kurt. I had two removed, first one felt like the doc. hit my toe with a sledgehammer and the pain shot up my leg, the second one, different doc. and years later, was more like little pinches with no pain whatsoever, hope yours is like my second one. Must say that both methods did work, although I much prefer the latter. :)

A little something every chance we get.
Thanks Carl - I'll hope for the latter too! Where's a cool laser when you need one. Procedure for the bad one in two weeks, have to cut the whole side. At least, he cut the dagger piece off this morning; no wonder it was killing me. Can't decide between feeling much better, or how much it hurt cutting in that infected area. Got some indoor putz to do today, and I'm supposed to soak in salt.

That was wild seeing that  How long to get it replaced?? Traffic going to suck for months in that area.

    So pretty!!!!

They got two of them out. One refused medical care and the other one in pretty bad shape (if I remember correctly)

    evening gang

Just heard on the news - they had stopped the traffic on the bridge before the accident. They heard a horn (or alarm) and stopped it, or there would have been a lot more on the bridge. Pretty sure they said they are looking for 6 more people

Prayers for the victims in Baltimore. We have a niece who lives outside of Baltimore not too far from that bridge. She told us about a couple that they are close friends with. Early this morning the couple and their twin 10 year old boys drove across that bridge on the way to the airport for a super early flight. The ship hit the bridge within 2 minutes of them crossing the bridge. 2 minutes and that family could have all perished . Mind boggling.

Get a few practice strings in before league play Thursday .
Average isn’t what it use to be, ball speed slower and not as smooth as I was but, the fire and desire is still there.

I want to try to make spam from a pork shoulder.

The current is strong in that area of the Patapsco River. The Harbor Piolet tried everything he could to avoid the collision.

The Mayday alert from the Harbor Piolet was acted on quickly by law enforcement to stop motor traffic from entering the bridge. The bodies may never be recovered. RIP.

Good morning. Another busy day. Who knew weeding could be such a pain in the butt. ;) Going to be another busy day.
